Tommy glared at the white house from inside the car, they'd just pulled in the driveway and he could already tell he was going to hate it here.

"Tommy, just try this time." His social work, Christine says to him placing her hand on top of his hair. "Phil's really nice, he has two other sons that are adopted. Please try to make this work." He turns his eyes to her they were void of any true feeling.

"I'm begging here Tommy." He sighs at her before looking back to the house. "Don't get your hopes up." He mutters to her before getting out and grabbing his bag from the backseat.

Tommy wasn't looking for a new family, he'd loved his old one, but he was looking to break his record of getting kicked out with in the first month. By the look of the house he thought two weeks and this Phil guy would be booting him out the door. Probably a massive neat freak by the look of the outside alone.

Christine met him at the door before knocking, a blonde man with pale blue eyes answered. A fluffy white dog was barking around his ankles, there was the sound of someone running up stairs as well most people wouldn't have heard it over the dog barking.

"Hello." The man holds out his hand to Christine, she shakes it before ushering Tommy inside the man picking up the tiny white dog and setting it back down once the door was completely shut.

Oh yeah definitely a neat freak.

"Tommy say hi." Christine nudges him but Tommy doesn't say anything he just looks at him. "Tommy." Her voice was sturn and he sighs relenting.

"Hi." He mutters unenthusiasticly, Phil smiles not seeming to notice that he was trying to be rude. Prick. Tommy glared at him as the two adults began the usual conversation, he'd heard it a thousand times and didn't bother to listen again.

His eyes shifted to take in the room. Large but not all that empty feeling, it looked lived in unlike the last house he'd been in, the cushions on the couch were an mess, blankets on the floor and what looked like two toy swords. The kitchen was visible only really separated by a walk table thing, he didn't know what it was called and didn't care to be quite honest, there were four stools.

There were a few pictures on the wall but he didn't bother to really look at them, he'd already seen a few pictures of the family. Phil, blonde, blue eyes, short compared to his two sons, kind smile, thirty-two. Wilbur, tall, brown hair, brown eyes, he was good in front of a camera, he was also the older of the two brothers, nineteen. Techno, pink hair dyed, amber eyes looked almost red in the sun, didnt know how to smile for pictures, eighteen. That's all he knew and he didn't want to learn more he'd already decided he didn't like them.

"Alright Tommy, I'll be back in a week for a check up. You better behave." Tommy nodded to the woman as she left not bothering to turn. He'd always make it at least a week so she didn't really have to tell him to behave, he would then he'd become an absolute nightmare.

"Alright mate, ready to meet Wil and Tech?" Phil asks him, Tommy side eyes him then shrugs, with a call from their father both boys were down the stairs. Wilbur was just like his pictures but Techno was wider in the shoulders and had more muscle then the photo.

"Jock, musician, man who deals with kids." Tommy mumbles to himself, as his eyes slowly pass over each person. "Well this sucks, where's my room I'm beat?" He asks looking at Phil, the man didn't look pleased but he'd already been told of Tommy's antics, Tommy knew Christine told she tells everyone before they agree to take him.

"Rude." Wilbur says leaning toward Techno. "Five bucks says kid's gonna be worse than you were." He mumbles loud enough to be heard. "Bet." Techno mutters back staring straight at Tommy.

"Be nice, no one can be worse than Techno those first weeks were hell." Phil says with a chuckle gently placing a hand on Tommy's shoulder, the teen shys away. "Don't touch me." He grumbles shooting a glare at the man.

"I've been wrong before." Phil proclaims before leading Tommy up the stairs. Once they made it to Tommy's new room Phil left, pointing out the bathroom as he went.

The room was pretty empty, a bed, a desk, a wardrobe, and a nice looking PC but other than that there was no life. It was deader than Tommy was inside.

He decide to do the only logical thing at the time, put half his clothes away, kick off his shoes, then lay on the bed hugging his phone close to protect it. "Just a few hours won't hurt." He mumbles to himself, falling asleep rather quickly, he didn't have insomnia unlike most other kids his age.
