Edd was shuffling all of his stuff for his classes.

Neither Ed nor Eddy had come up to him this morning at school.

Where were they?

Maybe Edd was just being too paranoid.

It was getting close to them graduating, and they probably were shuffling their own stuff.

Edd smiled at the thought of them all graduating together.

Just seeing all of the familiar faces, growing up and then they finally split their ways into their own mature lives.

His smile faded when he realized that he was going to do that too.

So would his best friends.

He shook his head and headed to his first class.

He wasn't stopped by Ed.

Or Eddy.

He hoped that he would at least see them at lunch.

(-~-)

Around the same hour that the first period started for Double D, Eddy was still asleep.

He forgot to charge his phone, meaning that he didn't hear any type of alarm.

He woke up naturally at around noon, feeling like complete shit.

Eddy did panic slightly in the beginning when he realized that he was about five hours late to school, but he thought that it would be a good idea to just drop it.

It was fine for him to miss one day since he had been staying on top of everything.

And besides, he couldn't even stand straight up without wanting to fall over again.

He was in a terrible state.

His hungover made him want to die.

He totally regretted drinking.

He didn't know how Jimmy, or literally anybody could deal with the dizziness and then the aftermath of the dizziness.

He went downstairs and took some more meds to help with his head, and just went back upstairs to sleep it off.

He was too nauseous to even try and eat anything, so he just didn't even try.

The two full water glasses remained at his bedside.

He took them and emptied both of them in his bathroom before placing them back on his bedside.

He slowly started to go back into bed when he noticed that the light was right in his eyes.

He groaned weakly, going over to his drapes and starting to close them.

He looked outside at the cul-de-sac, seeing complete emptiness.

It had been that way ever since they started high school.

Elementary they were always outside.

In middle school they started to go around places, but there were people out there.

And then high school got everyone busy.

The cul-de-sac wasn't fun anymore.

He closed the drapes.

He went back into bed.

His head was pounding, but he managed to fall back asleep in ten minutes.

(-~-)

"I've been texting him all morning... and afternoon. I haven't gotten anything back." Double D said while playing with his phone case.

"Well maybe he got his phone taken away Double D." Ed reasoned.
