This was a few weeks from the incident, which Eddy learned that he wasn't going to be drinking that much anytime soon.

After school, which was the third to last week of graduating, they all went to Double D's house.

Mainly because Eddy had a project that was very well overdue that he didn't tell Edd about, which was granted a very lovely reaction.

Ed just tagged along because he didn't want to go home just yet.

With his sister in middle school, her hormones were in extreme wack, making her literal Satan.

"Alright, Eddy, so what supplies do you need?" Double D pulled out two of his Science Projects bins from his closet.

"Just anything that can show the conductance of electricity."

"Woah Eddy, are you alright? Do you have a fever?" Ed exclaimed over his shoulder.

"Shut up. How else am I supposed to say it dumb-like?"

Edd pulled out a lightbulb with some attachments.

"Done."

Eddy raised his eyebrows.

"Damn. Wait—"

He picked up the lightbulb project from Double D's hands.

"You wrote your freaking name on everything!"

"Oh... perhaps you're right." He chuckled lightly.

"I guess I didn't want anyone stealing it, or if I lost a piece, I would know what it went to."

Eddy gave the project back to Edd.

"Don't worry, it's very simple to make. I can help you."

"Hell, yeah you will, you think I know what any of this means?"

"Lightbulbs get hot, Double D," Ed exclaimed randomly.

"Yes, Ed, they do. Unless they are LED, however."

Eddy felt a little bummed out that Double D didn't say anything to his dumb rhetorical question, even though it's not needed.

"What's LED?"

"Oh, it's—you don't need to worry about it, but it's very handy."

After hearing handy, Ed started doing hand gestures.

Double D got up, brushing himself off.

He picked up the two bins to put them back in his closet.

"Let me grab the supplies we need. I made that one not too long ago, actually, so I can remember what I used."

"Yeah, okay," Eddy responded.

Edd shuffled in another bin, giving things piece by piece to Eddy.

"Please don't let Ed have any of these things..."

"You got it," Eddy replied.

"Why not Double D?" He whined.

Double D closed his closet door, sighing.

"The last thing I need is for you to get cut or shocked, Ed."

"Oh, that's scary!"

"Yeah, sure is, and then you get those bugs that crawl into your cuts and split your muscles in half, eating them—"

Eddy looked at Ed with a villainous expression, gesturing the bugs.

"Eddy, what on earth are you trying to achieve?"
