It was quiet for the rest of their hangout.
This was mainly because Edd wanted to get some practice exams done and studied so he would feel confident about his education.
But after a few hours of Eddy just laying there... he started to crave something.
He would never be able to tell Double D this.
He started to crave alcohol.
He didn't know why.
He didn't want to get drunk again, as it gave him a literal panic attack.
And he felt miserable for the entire week after.
Yeah, he definitely wasn't going to do that.
And they were so close to graduating too, he couldn't miss any more school.
"You are going to hate what I'm going to say..." Eddy broke the silence.
Double D hummed.
"But you told me to tell you... at least."
Double D slid his papers away from him, stretching.
"Eddy..." He said while yawning.
"I'm craving it! I can't control it."
When he finished yawning, he looked over at him.
"I can't control you; you have a mind of your own. Do what you want, but I'll be more concerned about you from now on today."
"Okay, yeah, I get that." He nodded thoughtfully.
He had a small urge to ask if Double D wanted to come with him.
He already knew what answer he was going to get, but he didn't know if it would be worth it to try it or not.
He stayed there for a little bit longer until the urge became too strong.
But he also needed to use the bathroom and still 'til this day felt too awkward to use Edd's.
"Hey man, I'm going to go."
Edd put his pencil down to look at him.
"Okay, bye Eddy."
"See ya."
"Don't. Drive." Double D said sternly.
Eddy groaned quietly.
He turned around.
"How am I going to get home?"
"I can come to get you."
"That's embarrassing."
"Well?" Double D shrugged.
"I'll stay home, I'll stay home." Eddy waved him off.
"What do you mean by that?"
Eddy hung his hand on Edd's door.
"I'll... get the stuff and just stay home."
His parents weren't around.
It would work smoothly.
"O—kay..." Double D said unsurely.
Eddy gave him a thumbs-up before starting to leave again.
"Would you like me to check on you after a little bit?" Double D said behind his back.
Eddy sighed, wanting to at least get out of the door.
"Nah... if I'm... bad or something I'll come here, is that alright?"
"Of course, my parents are leaving this afternoon."
