𝘃𝗶𝗶 : 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹

'Shall we ask the boy about how he got stuck ?' Jake whispered to Jay who was presently carrying down a heavy box to the bedroom.

'didn't seem like he wanted to, let's just leave it for now' Jay replied.

'Who would even own these ?' Jungwon exclaimed.

'Who cares ? As long as these are useful,' Sunghoon replied.

'5 axes all together, vampires, grab one each' Heeseung checked and announced.

'What about humans ?' Jungwon snapped.

'if you think you're strong enough, you may grab one,' Ni-ki replied. 'mission start !'

Heeseung hung the axe at a line near his shoulder and held it back and then taking a quick step back, he plunged the axe in the direction of the door. It hit the door and then retreated and fell down. 'What the hell !?'

Heeseung took a second axe and plunged it again. The sharp swing almost hit the door and then the loud bang on the door scared most of them but when the noise died, it was clearly visible that there was no impact on the door. Not even a little trace of a sharp object hitting it was visible.

'h-how is that possible !?' 

Heeseung went to hit the glass window this time. But the axe had no impact on the glass, the glass seemed almost unbreakable.
The fear spread across the room from person to person when Heeseung continued to hit the door but there was still no impact.

'Dang it, don't stand there, help me !'

Ni-ki, Jake and Jay came forward and each started hitting against the glass windows and the wooden door. Over and over again they slashed their axes at exits but only the loud clashing sounds scared everyone. 

'no way is that possible !' sunoo said.

'okay, now, everyone step aside' Sunghoon, with the final axe, plunged it forward with all his accumulated force. The loud sound of a crash defining ears as the axe came in contact with the door.

But as soon as the axe hit the door, it was winged back with the force and the boys standing behind had to dodge to avoid the axe which retreated back and it straight up hit the stone statue placed on the table beside the couch.

'seriously !' Sunghoon exclaimed and grabbed one of the axes that had fallen on the ground and he plunged it hard again but it was still a failure. 

'how is that p-possible !?' Jungwon exclaimed.

'dang it, collect all the axes !' Sunghoon frustratingly yelled out. The boys were quick to action and soon all the five objects were collected (although the one which hit the statue has had itself disfigured).

Sunghoon swung the axes one after the other. The axe was shot, the axe hit the door, axe flew back and the boys had to dodge to save themselves. The cycle almost seemed never ending before Sunghoon finally gave up after his last axe.

The room was filled with the heavy sound of panting and the boys almost collapsed to the ground. It would have been an understatement to say that the others weren't terrified when Sunghoon punched his hand hard against the door.

The axes were laid down on the ground scattered and the 7 boys looked at them in despair. Their last chance to escape this inescapable house was gone.

'Sunghoon, are you okay ?' Heeseung hesitantly questioned his friend, holding onto his hand.

'yeah, we'll try later, I'll just take some rest' Sunghoon replied, his voice bleak yet stern.

He climbed up the stairs and the others watched him in silence. ('mission fail' Ni-ki quietly spoke)

'I'll follow him' Jake assured the others and followed Sunghoon.

'Ni-ki…' 
Ni-ki, who was sitting all by himself on the couch still observing the door, was startled by Sunoo who had come down in silence and approached him.

'Ni-ki, are you okay ?'

'Suunghoon hyung, what about him ? Wasn't his hand bruised from earlier ?' Ni-ki questioned Sunoo back.

'oh, Jake had some ointment he could use.' Sunoo assured. 'how did you get stuck in there ?'

'Huh ?'

'Ni-ki, there wasn't a handle on the door and neither did it have a lock yet it was locked, how in the world did you discover that place beyond the shelves ?'

'that, hyung, i just thought that I saw someone and followed it and reached the place, i was about to get out when I realized I was stuck' Ni-ki replied.

'don't go alone, n-next time, I'll accompany you' Sunoo hesitantly suggested and smiled to himself. 'also, once we get out of here, I'll make sure to follow our plans'

But Ni-ki didn't reply but just nodded his head. 

'Okay, now, let's treat your wounds that you got when you hit i don't know what in that abandoned room' Sunoo exclaimed getting up as he placed his hand forward and fortunately the younger one grabbed it. Sunoo pulled Ni-ki up and escorted him to Jake who had first-aid.

'Jay hyung, do you think this place is magical ?' Jungwon curiously questioned Jay, who was busy trying to get access to the network, on his cellphone.

'huh ? But-

'think of it, how did the metal axes not even shatter the glasses and leave at least a scratch on them.'

'Thinking of that, it truly sounds strange.' 

'Do you think we'll be able to make it out of here, hyung ?'

'Of course, Jungwon, we will. Don't worry, I'm here with you'
