'i think we should keep the door open, you know, just in case...' Jay turned on his flashlight because that area was dark and placed his bag between the two sides of the door to prevent it from closing.

The 6 pair of eyes wandered about the place, but then Jay's eyes fell on something, 'where are the axes we had left here?'

'they just... Disappeared ? Honestly, this place gives me creepy vibes' Jungwon said.

'let's not dwell on these things, instead search for the boy' Sunoo said.

'why did I agree to come back, gosh...' Jake spoke to himself as he walked down the corridor in search of Ni-ki.

'hey Jake-

'OHMYGODPLEASEDONTHURTMEIDIDNOTHINGWRONGIDIDNTEVENHAVEMYFIRSTKISS' Jake panicked making the other person shocked and the other person, who was Sunghoon, stumbled back and fell down.

'Jake... It's me, Sunghoon' Sunghoon said, stretching his hands while sitting on the floor.

'o-oh' Jake had the flustered face as he helped Sunghoon stand up again, 'sorry, i was just scared.'

'are you sure you can walk alone ?' Sunghoon, with his hands in his pockets, questioned after sometime when he saw Jake almost shaking from all the fear.

'u-uh, yeah'

'okay then why are you holding my hand so tight ?'

'i-it's because you may fall and tremble.'

'oh, i see' Sunghoon smirked.

'Heeseung hyung, why don't we stay close, I don't want to search alone' Jay shot the light of the flashlight at Heeseung.

'Oh, Jay, sure, come here' Heeseung smiled and wrapped his arm around Jay's shoulder and walked. 'you must be really fond of Sunghoon, you keep on bombing the introvert with questions.'

'nah, it's fun to annoy him' Jay laughed.

'you're such a kid; making fun and annoying, cutie' Heeseung poked Jay to which the younger one replied, 'hey, I'm not a baby'

'alright cutie, let's get back now.' Heeseung jokingly laughed.

'Heeseung hyung, there's someone, b-behind you.' Jay's voice, this time, was quivering and Heeseung quickly turned back but then he was hit and everything turned black.

'did you hear a scream ?' Jungwon questioned Sunoo who was looking through the items they had found in the basement.

'huh ? Scream ?'

'y-yeah, sounded like Jay hyung, didn't you hear ?'

'no. Maybe he saw a spider or something?' Sunoo shrugged.

Jungwon held the flashlight tightly in his hands while the other boy looked around the place calling out Ni-ki's name.

'h-hyung, it's raining.'

'what ?'

'stay quiet, you'll hear it.' Jungwon said.

The silence followed and the sound of raindrops hitting the soft ground and the rooftop could be made out.

'seems like it's a storm again.' Sunoo replied. 'but Jungwon, I suddenly remembered something.'

'what is it?'

'that day, when we first came here, I remember Ni-ki said he saw someone outside but then I pulled him downstairs because it was raining and we needed to return home.'

'so, do you think he saw something?' Jungwon nervously questioned.

'could he have ?' Sunoo paused and looked at the flickering beam of light coming from the flashlight. They were running short of batteries, and the light was full enough to remind them that it would go off any minute. But it didn't just go off anyhow.

Sunoo paused and turned when he felt something pulling his feet and when he tried to get rid of it, it pulled him more, the grip tightening on his leg, Sunoo held onto Jungwon to save himself from falling.

'h-hyung, what's wrong ?'

'J-Jungwon, s-something's pulling my l-leg'

'what !?' Jungwon exclaimed and tried to flicker the light on it but accidentally dropped it and it went dark.

Sunoo screams and yells could be heard, hurried foorsteps, Jungwon's clasp of hands on Sunoo and the raindrops hitting on the ground could he heard. And soon all went silent.

'Jay...Jay..Wake up'

Jay was the first one to wake up and he looked around with half-concious eyes and saw Jake crouched in front of him.

'Jake ?'

'Wake up, Jay, and wake the others up as well.' Jake said and to his statement Jay looked around to find the other three boys lying on the floor.

Heeseung's head was rested on Sunghoon's lap and the visible blood on the head made Jay sit up straight. An unconscious Jungwon was holding tightly onto Sunoo's hand who was unconscious as well.

'w-what happened ?'

'me and Jake came to the library but then we heard some loud sounds and when we came to this side of the place, we found you guys unconscious.' Sunghoon explained while gently stroking Heeseung's hair.

'we've been trying to wake up guys up for the past 20 minutes and till now, you're the only one who is awake.' Jake replied, shaking Jungwon aggressively to wake him up.

'H-Heeseung hyung was hit by someone in the dark and I fell as well.' Jay recalled his memories.

'I luckily found some antiseptic I had forgotten here and applied it on the two.' Jake sighed.

'the rain won't stop, and we still have no trace of Ni-ki'

A few minutes passed by the slowly the other boys gained back their consciousness.

'do you think Ni-ki perhaps left before we got here ?' Jungwon suggested and the others thought about it.

'there is some serious game being played on us here.' Sunoo said. 'I was scared for my life when that thing pulled me.'

'but what will explain the disappearance of the axes ?' Sunghoon mentioned.

'I honestly have no idea.'

'G-guys, I don't think Ni-ki would have left, he must still be here.' Sunoo, who stood beside the last shelf of the library exclaimed.

'what why ?' The rest of the boys gathered up to Sunoo to see the situation.

'i-isn't that Ni-ki's phone on the ground ?'

'the last message was never sent, it reads, 'hyung, i think I found the meaning of the phrase.''
