'hey ! Can you hear me ?!'

Jungwon had been screaming through his phone for the past 20 minutes, but there seemed to be no one to respond from the other side.

'will you stop ? It's not gonna work'

'well, i don't see you doing any help'

'being a vampire, I'm trying not to kill you, that's the thing you should be grateful for'

And with that Heeseung and Jungwon bickered while the others sat round the dusty couch, sharing unpleasant glances at each other.

'oh come on !!' Jake screamed with an attempt to push the door again, but failed.

'this place certainly has no network, my data isn't even working' Jay whined, putting his phone up to try and find the slightest hint of signal.

'I think we may need to stay here for the night.'

And with that being said, Sunoo received complaints, arguments and a lot of clownery; everyone disagreed but were quick to shut up when Heeseung clapped his hands to gain their attention.

'I think he's right, it's dark and the batteries of the flashlights can't be wasted, we'll look around tomorrow and find a way to break the door open and escape.' he suggested.

'have you seen that door ? That literally doesn't look weak. It won't even break open even when we threw things at it' Sunghoon replied.

'I know, we'll see to it tomorrow. For now, find places to rest and don't be alone, stay in twos or threes.'

'Whatever your name is, I agree to your plan, but do you really expect us to stay with vampires....?' Jungwon frowned.

'it's Heeseung and you can choose your own partners if you want, that blond guy over there is Ni-ki and the other one is Sunghoon' Heeseung introduced and the humans nodded. There wasn't any need for the introduction of humans. The vampires recognized Sunoo and Jungwon was the frowning one, Jake was pretty easy to name and Jay seemed responsible and the names were sorted.

'i can't believe this place has only two bedrooms, damn old houses' Jay cursed under his breath, sitting on top of a table.

'and the bed in the first room is broken from the middle and covered in some weird stinky stuff, I'm definitely not going in that' Jungwon whined.

Jungwon, Ni-ki and Sunoo scouted on the floor, waiting for the older one to think of a solution

'how about we share a room together ?'

'Jay hyung, are you crazy ?' Jungwon replied, eyeing at Ni-ki and then retreating when Ni-ki replied, 'neither do vampires wanna sleep with humans, Jungwon hyung.'

'shut up, you two-

'i won't if you say it' Ni-ki replied to Sunoo.

'aye, shut up, let's find the others'

Jake maintained quite some distance between him and Heeseung and Sunghoon. Unfortunately he had ended up with the two vampires and he wasn't quite okay with it.

Although Heeseung tried to interact with him to make sure he's okay, Sunghoon would randomly make sounds to scare the boy.

'why did you want to accompany when you were such a scared cat?' Sunghoon teased Jake and laughed out loud to which Heeseung sent a not really approving look and the boy stopped laughing.

'anyways, there's seems to be no room, so anyone wanting to share the couch in the living room ?' Sunghoon questioned.

'what about bedrooms ?' Heeseung questioned.

'geez, didn't you hear that goose-like scream that Sunoo guy let out ? He must have seen disgusting things in the bedroom, isn't that obvious ?' Sunghoon pointed out. Heeseung chuckled at his friend's statement and he agreed. 'let's wait and explore.'

Ni-ki was roaming around near the staircase when he noticed a door near the end of the hallway. He was getting quite bored with the selection of rooms.

Vampires really didn't need the sleep. They could go on without it and it wasn't a necessary measure unlike the humans who would definitely turn into zombies with lack of sleep.

And since he couldn't find his other two hyungs, he decided to just roam around, trying to find something interesting. He made his way towards the door and pushed it slightly. It creaked open. The boy gulped and his eyes twitched and he slowly entered, getting ready to face every possible danger.

He was welcomed in an old library instead. The book shelves which were definitely older than him, towered high above, covered in cobwebs and dust. He looked around. The boy wasn't quite a fan of reading but what's wrong in just quick peeks ?

He looked through the shelves one by one. He attempted to take out an old book which drew his attention but as he tried to, the shelf shook and the higher books were about to fall on the boy who was clueless and in panic of what to do, his hands trembling and legs refusing to move but he was pulled into a hug by someone....his Sunoo hyung. And then the ruffling sound of heavy books falling hard on the ground was heard.

'Ni-ki ! Don't wander around without any notice, you could have got hurt' Sunoo exclaimed once he had pulled the youngest out of the place.

'i was just curious' the younger one replies avoiding eye contact and though he wanted to thank the older one, his inner pride refused to.

'what happened ? Why did we hear heavy sounds ?' A worried Jake questioned once he saw Sunoo approaching them followed by Ni-ki.

'oh, just some books fell down, nothing to worry about. What were you discussing about ?'

'since there's only one room with a bed to avail, how do you want to split up ?' Heeseung stated.

'I'm not staying with a human for sure.' Sunghoon snapped.

'Jake volunteered to stay up near the door with me, does everyone else want to share the room ?' Heeseung questioned.

'Jake hyung, did you really...?' Jungwon whispered to Jake to which he replied, 'Heeseung hyung is not mean and he's reliable.'

'I'll stay with you.' Sunoo volunteered next.

It was sorted, the rest five would snuggle into the room while the three would be near the door on the couch.

'okay, so who's gonna share the bed ?' Jay questioned.

Sunghoon snorted and looked at the human boys already yawning and replied, 'I don't really need to sleep, so I'll be fine on the floor'

'okay, then, I'm gonna go off to sleep' Jungwon replied and plopped on the bed and within a few minutes, he was already asleep.

Jay crawled up beside him and Sunghoon sat on an arm chair nearby, resting his head slightly.

'Ni-ki, I'm sorry, for ditching our plans.' Sunoo confessed as he looked at the boy's back but the younger one just let out a sigh and walked up the stairs making it clear that he wouldn't reply. It wasn't time for Sunoo to sulk so he just went back to the couch to the other boys and pretending that nothing had happened.

Ni-ki approached the room and saw Jungwon fast asleep while Jay was trying to fall asleep. He glanced at Sunghoon but the boy avoided him. Indeed, he had to be forgiven by Sunghoon as well.

He approached him and sat on the floor and leaned his head against the armchair.

Things were going to be difficult for him.
