Chapter Seven: A Friend Indeed

A/N: Storm likes being petted, especially by Liam. Storm got a letter, and gave it to Liam, at the end.

Liam POV

All of us are at Grid Battleforce. Me, Devon, and Ravi were training our skills. "Woah, I need a break." Devon said. "Me too." I said. The three of us stopped training. "You got it." Ravi said. "Drink, I picked it out for you. It's blueberry get it? Blue-berry, for the Blue Ranger." Smash said as he held out a bottle of blueberry juice and chuckles a bit.

"No thanks, water's fine." Ravi said. "Oh." Smash said a bit sad. "I'll take that I am thirsty." Devon said as he grabbed the blueberry juice from, Smash. Cruise, and Storm walked into the room. "Here you go, Liam. Green Apple Juice." Storm said as he came to me with a bottle of green apple juice on his back. "Thanks, Storm." I said as I petted him, and grabbed the apple juice and drank it. "Always, happy to help. You should get some rest, Liam. A person needs to keep their energy, to be ready for anything." Storm said. "You're right, Storm. I need some rest." I said.

Cruise walked up to Devon, holding a red-colored juice. "Sorry I'm late Devon, I brought your favorite... drink." Cruise stops for a bit when he saw Devon already drank the blueberry juice. "Too late buddy, you took that shortcut through that park I told you about?" Devon asked. "No, but I-" Cruise was about to say. "Never mind." Devon said interrupting him.

"I think I have enough training for one day." Devon said. "Yeah, me too. I should get some rest as well." I said. "Really? I could use another round." Ravi said as he playfully punched Devon's shoulder. "Of course you could, you're a machine. But I'm not see ya." Devon said as he left with Cruise following after him. "Well. We better get going, Storm." I said. "You got it, Liam." Storm said. Both Storm, and I walked out of the room.

All of us entered the lab. Ben, and Betty bumped into Devon, and Ravi causing a bunch of boxes to fall. "Woah, watch out guys." Devon said. "Sorry." Ben said as he laughed a bit. "Where are they off to in such a hurry?" Devon asked. "Jax goofed up, I asked him to get office supplies, and somehow he ends up with party supplies." Zoey said as she placed a party hat on top of her head.

"Mission training, meet you guys out back." Nate said while holding a blaster. "Don't forget your, Beast-X Blasters." Nate said as he walks out. "We have the same problem with our Beast-Bots." Ravi said. "Cruise, is constantly forgetting things which makes him late." Devon said. "And Smash is always mothering me. It's pretty annoying." Ravi said. "Sometime I wish they would just, do what we asks, no questions, no drama. You know." Zoey said. "Let's go." Devon said. All three of them grabbed their blasters and begin to leave.

"I think you guys are over exaggerating." I said, but they ignored me. I just sighed and grabbed my blaster, and head out.

All of us got outside. "Nate?" Devon called. "You said to meet us out here." Ravi said.Suddenly a car burst through a bunch of boxes. "It must be, Evox." Devon said. All of us used our blasters and fired at the car. All of us ducked as it came close, but it passed through us. All of us looked back. "What just happened?" Devon asked. Nate came out, and made the car disappear. "It was a hologram." Nate said. "A hologram?" Devon questioned. "You mean it was an illusion?" Ravi asked. "Yup." Nate said. "Wow, that looked so real." Zoey said. I hummed in agreement.

"I installed a Nano-projector into all of your blasters, so you can create holograms for when you get in a jam." Nate said. All of our Beast-Bots came to us. "Hey. Uh, we were thinking maybe you guys wanna take a break. It's awfully hot today." Cruise said. "Thanks but not right now, Cruise." Devon said. "Just for a few minutes?" Smash asked. "Smash, we're learning about our new weapon, it's important." Ravi said. "Oh." Smash said. "Sorry, maybe later guys." Zoey said. "Ah, well okay." Jax said a bit sad. "What about you, Liam?" Storm asked. "I guess a short break wouldn't hurt." I said. Storm was happy.
