Chapter Eight: The Cybergate Opens

Liam POV

All of us entered Nate's lab, and saw Nate with a backpack. "Hey, where ya off to?" Devon asked. "I'm developing some new weapon prototypes, gonna upgrade them with animal DNA. So I, thought I heads to the woods to get some insect DNA to work with. Ravi stops Nate from leaving. "Hold up, dude you know the rule. You're not suppose to go out of the base without an escort. You're too important." Ravi said. "I need this DNA, if anything happens I can handle myself." Nate said. "Why not let us come along and keep you company?" Zoey asked. "Fine." Nate said. "Let's go." Ravi said. All of us exits the lab.

All of us are now outside in the forest. Nate just finished scanning the Praying Mantis DNA. "How about this spider? It's an arachnid." Zoey said showing him the arachnid. Nate got startled. "I love pretty much all creatures, but not spiders. Thanks though." Nate said. "Oh, okay." Zoey said. Devon was playing a game. Me, and Ravi were watching Devon playing.

Ravi's Wrist-com beeped. "Rangers, a robotron has been spotted, stealing Morph-X in, Sector 8-3." Commander Shaw said. "Roger that." Ravi said. "Nate, go back to the base where you'll be safe." Devon said. "I'm not done yet, I-I just found this Sacred Beetle." Nate said. "Nate." Ravi said. "I know it's the rules, okay. I'll go." Nate said. "Thanks, Nate." Zoey said. "Stay safe." I said.

We got to where Vacuutron is. "Let's go team." Ravi said. Vacuutron started firing at us, we hid behind a car.

"It's Morphin' Time!" Devon shouted. We summoned our Morphers.

"Activate Beast Power!" We shouted. Mists of our Ranger Color surrounded us, and we morphed.

"Unleash The Beast!" We shouted.

"Tronics!" Vacuutron yelled. All of us begin fighting. Vacuutron got on the truck and left. "Hey, stop that truck." Devon said. "Oh no." Zoey said. All of us continue fighting the Tronics.

Devon, and I slashed some of the Tronics. "Beast Blast!" Ravi, and Zoey shouted as they fired at the Tronics. "Now, where did that Robotron drive off to?" Zoey asked. "Don't know. But we gotta get that Morph-X." Ravi said. "Let's split up and find it." Devon said. "Alright." I said. All of us split up to look for the Robotron.

"No sign of that bot downtown, in Sector Delta 7-7." Devon told us through his Wrist-com. "And nothing visible in, Sector 2-5." Zoey said. "Sector Echo 8-4, has nothing either." Ravi said. "Nothing here as well." I said.

All of us got back to Grid Battleforce. "Any luck finding that Robotron?" Commander Shaw asked. "None of us found a thing." Devon replied. "Understood. But right now, we got another problem. Nate hasn't return to base, and his communicator is offline." Commander Shaw said. "We left him alone in the woods." Zoey said. "He could be in trouble, we gotta save him." Ravi said. "Right." I said. We were about to leave.

"Hold on, Nate's a capable young man. Don't count him out just yet." Commander Shaw said. "But he's not a fighter Commander, he can't defend himself." Devon said. Ben, and Betty entered. "Commander, we have some bad news." Ben said. "You know that truck, that got away with the Morph-X. Well, we saw it, and our tracker it-it." Betty said. "It fell onto the back of the truck, we're sorry." Ben said.

"Wait, if your tracker is on the truck. It means that if we find the truck, than we can most likely find Nate too." Devon said. "Yeah, good point." Ben said as he used the tracker remote. "I got online, it's right next to the warehouse in, Sector Kilo 1-8." Ben said. "Great work. Ben, and Betty." Commander Shaw said. "Bring, Nate back safe and sound." Commander Shaw said. All of us went to the warehouse.

We were outside of the warehouse, hiding behind some objects. "I've look through the window. Nate's inside with Blaze, and Roxy. He seems okay, but he's building some sort of machine." Devon said. "Come on, we better get in there." Ravi said. All of us tried to rush in but we got attacked by Vacuutron. "Evox, is returning to this world to rule it. You Rangers, can't stop him." Vacuutron said. "Evox? That's not good." Zoey said. "and now, you'll wipe the dust." Vacuutron said. "Not if we wipe you out first." Devon said.

"Activate Beast Power!" We shouted as we morphed. "Transport Beast-X Saber!" We shouted as we summoned our Beast-X Sabers. All of us begin fighting. Devon caught Zoey. "You good?" Devon asked. "Yeah, but we gotta get pass this Robotron." Zoey said. Vacuutron attacked us and we fell to the ground. "Time to get rid of this filth." Vacuutron said. "The only filth here is you." Devon said. All of us continue fighting.

"Hold still!" Vacuutron said as he fired at us. We fell to the ground. "I'm wiping the floor with you." Vacuutron said.

Me, and Zoey heard noises in the warehouse. "Nate! We gotta get in there!" Zoey said. Zoey was trying to get into the warehouse. "Zoey, look out!" Devon shouted. Vacuutron fired at Zoey, and she fell. "No!" Zoey exclaimed.

"So long suckers!" Vacuutron said as he fired at us. We fell to the ground. "We gotta get to, Nate." Ravi said. "You're all washed up, Rangers. Prepare to be destroyed." Vacuutron said. Vacuutron rushed towards us, but he got blasted, and fell to the ground.

A Gold Ranger, and Silver Ranger appeared. "This mess will be an optimal test of our Ranger Powers." The Gold Ranger said. "What's this?" Vacuutron questioned. "What? Who are you?" Devon asked. "It's me, Nate." Nate said. "Nate!" We said. "And this is..." Nate was about to introduce the Silver Ranger. "Not the best time for intros, come on." The Silver Ranger said. "I'll explain later." Nate said. The both of them begin fighting Vacuutron.

"Got it, Commander. There's a Gigadrone is the city." Ravi said. "You guys go. We can take care of this." Nate said. "Okay." We said as we went to get our Zords.

"What's your status team?" Devon asked. "In position." Ravi, Zoey, and I said. "All systems go!" All of us said. "I got the Gigadrone in sight. It's sucking the Morph-X directly from the tower, I'm gonna need back up." Devon said.

"Almost there, Devon." Ravi said. "Right above you." Zoey said. "Getting there as fast as we can." I said. "He's got the same weapon as the Robotron." Devon said. "We're losing power it's sucking our Morph-X fuel." Cruise said.

"Devon's in trouble." Jax said. "Not for long. Rapid Blast!" Zoey shouted as she attacksw the Gigadrone. "Thanks, for the save. I hope Nate is okay too." Devon said.

Ravi's Wheeler Zord got into Gorilla Mode and clogged the vacuum. "His vacuum's blocked, nice." Devon said.

"Beast-X Megazord! Combine!" Devon shouted.

"Beast-X Megazord! Unleash!" Devon shouted as we formed the Megazord.

"Right on!" Cruise said.

"Powering Beast-X Blade!" Zoey said.

"Charging Main Weapons!" Ravi said.

"Target is Locked!" I said.

"Transport! Cheetah Beast Blaster! Beast-X Hyper Strike!" Devon shouted as we destroyed the Gigadrone.

"Virus Eliminated!" Devon said.

All of us are now back at Grid Battleforce. "Wow, that is quite a story. Sounds like you all, handle it well. I'll let the General know. And it was nice to meet you uh..." Commander Shaw said. "Oh, he needs a name." Nate said. "Yes, how about Mr. Fantastic Super Handsome Strong As Steel?" The Silver Ranger suggested. We laughed a bit.

"Maybe just, Steel, for short." Nate said. "I love it, you are smart." Steel said. "Steel, yeah suits perfectly." Devon said as he hits his hand against Steel's head. "So, we know you planned to become a, Ranger. So how did he morphed?" Devon asked. "Yeah, how could a robot do that?" Zoey asked. "Well, it was easy for me, since I had the insect DNA. I also thought about Steel morphing, so I ran some test." Nate said. "I'll let you tell them the good part." Steel said.

"Well..." Nate was about to say but Steel interrupted. "You see the thing is, I'm human." Steel said. "Excuse me?" Ravi said. "He's right, sort of, turns out that Morph-X bonded his system to Sacred Beetle DNA, and to my DNA." Nate said. "Yes, making me the perfect, Ranger." Steel said.

"You Rangers, have always been like my family. But now I finally have a real brother." Nate said. "Well you brothers, did amazing today." Devon said. "I think we owe you an apology." I said. "We thought you couldn't handle yourself." Ravi said. "But, we learned the same lesson that Blaze, and Roxy did. That ya don't mess with Nate." Zoey said.

"Welcome to the Ranger team, both of you." Devon said. "Thanks, Devon." Nate said.
