Chapter Eleven: Tools of the Betrayed

A/N: Liam did Ninja Training by himself, in secret. I'm skipping the episode "Real Steel". So the next one will be "Tuba Triumph".

Liam POV

All of us are at Riptide Gym, training. Ravi, and Zoey are blindfolded. "Alright, Devon, Liam. We're ready, where are you two?" Zoey asked. Me, and Devon alerted Ravi, and Zoey, as we went after them. "Try to feel your beast instincts." Devon said. "Can't always rely on your sight." I said. I used my bo staff to make noises, while also sliding my foot. Ravi, and Zoey picked up on the noise and went after us. "That's more like it." Devon said. We blocked their incoming attacks. "That's it, that's it." Devon said. "That was really cool, with blindfolds I can feel my beast instincts kicking in." Zoey said. "That's exactly the point." Devon said.

'Times like this makes me remember the Ninja Trainings, Me, and the others did back than.' I think to myself.

Ben, and Betty walked in. "Delivery for, Devon Daniels." Betty said. "We know you've been waiting for it, so we thought we'd surprise you." Ben said. Devon gasped as he took the package. "My Virtual Reality Headset. It came, this took forever to show up." Devon said. He took out the headset. "This is the best VR Gaming Gear ever made. All those months of saving finally payoff, I can't wait to try it out." Devon said.

Zoey's Wrist-com beeped. "Go ahead." Zoey said. "Blaze has been spotted in, Sector Echo 6-8. Still responding, I'm transmitting coordinates to you." Commander Shaw said. "Roger that." Zoey said as all of us left.

We appeared where Nate, and Steel was. "Sorry we're late." Devon said. "Glad to see you guys." Nate said. "Transport!" We shouted as we summoned our blasters. "Let's go." Devon said. All of us begin fighting. I did some acrobatics, with my Ninja Skills, and fired at the Tronics. "Beast Blast!" Me, Ravi, and Zoey shouted as we fired the Tronics. "That's the end of that." Zoey said. "Great job, come on." Ravi said. "Let's go." I said.

We reached Devon. "Did Blaze, get away?" Steel asked. "Yeah." Devon replied. "Rats, he always does." Steel said. "Don't worry, he left with his Robotron Maker in pieces." Devon said. "Let's tell the commander the good news." Nate said. All of us went back to Grid Battleforce.

We are now in Grid Battleforce. Nate is working on his Gigadrone detector. "The final piece, and that is how you assemble the Gigadrone Detector." Nate said. "Right on, so what's it for?" Steel asked. "Well, these detectors will warn us, when a Gigadrone is about to arrive." Nate said. "So no more, surprise attack? Like that Drilling Gigadrone that snuck up on us underground. I hated that guy." Zoey said. "Me too." I said. "Nate, that's genius." Ravi said. "We need to set the detectors all around the city." Devon said.

"Make sure to choose a location, where the public won't notice the devices." Commander Shaw said. "And you'll need to assemble them on sight. Since each location will require a different configuration." Nate said. "Each Rangers take a unit. Ben, and Betty you guys build one together as a team. Let's get to work." Devon said. All of us grabbed one, and left. I've finished setting up mine.

All of us, except for Zoey, Ben, and Betty are back at Grid Battleforce. "Zoey, Ben, and Betty are on their way. Let's get started." Commander Shaw said. "Yes, Commander. Activating, all Gigadrone Detectors. Huh? Station Six, isn't working. That's Ben, and Betty unit." Nate said. "Let me know, when you get it online." Commander Shaw said. "Weird, can we take a look at it?" Ravi asked. "There's a security camera I can access. Here it is." Nate said. We saw the Detector parts on the ground. "What the? Looks like ben, and betty didn't even build their detector yet." Devon said.
