Can't Resist

(Kakashi pov:)

I had fallen asleep while crying and I didn't even realize that it was the next day. A knock came from the front door. I took off the sheets from over me and sat up on the bed. The pain was almost numb now. Maybe because the heart ache had started. I still kept a presentable face and headed to open the door.

I opened it to find Naruto and Sasuke, the two people I didn't want to see right now. It's not like that I hate them, I just don't want to see them as of now. Right now, either I want to be alone or I want to be with her.

I still gave them a smile, "Hey, what brings you here?"

"We got to know that you still need rest so we thought to help you out through the days." Naruto said with a smile.

"Thanks. It wasn't really necessary though." I said with a smile.

"We know. But, we still wanna help." Naruto said and I let them in. They both went into the kitchen and started making breakfast. All day went with them having fun. It was like they knew I would be sad so they came to cheer me up but couldn't say it right away so they made helping an excuse.

It's almost night and we all are just sitting at the dining table chatting after having our dinner.

"I know it's hard to accept that she just ran away." Naruto started suddenly.

We both looked at him confused waiting for him to continue.

"But, I know that we don't have to worry about her at all!" His voice turned happy, "She can take good care of herself. And, who knows? Maybe she comes back some day to meet us all again?"

"What do you mean? She's never gonna come back no matter what. If she does, she will die!" Sasuke said in anger.

"But, she won't just forget about us. I know her. She is never just gonna leave us when she didn't even say a proper goodbye." He said, smile appearing on his face.

"So, what you are saying is she will come back to meet us?" I asked calmly.

"Yes! Especially you! I saw her when she spent time with you. She was actually happy and I know she won't forget that. Ever." He said with a smile. I looked away saying nothing.

"And, even if she doesn't actually meet us..." He leaned back in his chair, keeping his hands behind his neck staring at the ceiling with a smile, "She would atleast come and see to make sure we are okay and not in any trouble."

"Wouldn't that be just a torture for her to be so close yet so far away from us?" Sasuke said.

"Maybe.... but it would be less torture then just never seeing or talking to us." He said thinking.

"So, how will we know if she came to meet us?" I asked in almost a whisper.

"We never will. She won't let us know. She will do it so that she can protect and help us if we need some help. She will be like our guardian angel, that's it." Naruto said taking glances from both of us.

Everyone fell quiet trying to process how the things will be now.

"I bet she will come visit you sometime soon." Naruto said with a chuckle pointing at me, "She knows you will be back into your conscious by now. She's definitely gonna stop by when she sees the right time."

"You are sure about that because...?" I asked.

"Because I know her. I grew up with her. I know how her heart and mind functions."

We all talked for a little more. Then, they both took their leave soon after and went back to their house. I laid back on my bed thinking what Naruto said.
