Life For Life

(Kakashi pov:)

A few minutes passed of me intensely crying for my lost beloved until I heard some people approaching. I quickly wiped my tears, pulled up my mask and put on the headband but, still held Y/N close to my chest. I just did not want to get her out of my embrace.

"Kakashi! There.....you....are...." I heard Guy's voice slightly trailing off. I had my eyes closed stopping my tears.

"Is that.... Y/N....?" I heard Lee saying, his voice was sad with a touch of disbelief.

"You three go and assist Naruto." Guy said. For the first time, he wasn't as enthusiastic as he always is.

The next thing I felt was Guy sitting beside me while everyone else left.

"So, how did you do it...?" He said in a low voice.

"She gave up her life to protect me, Naruto and Gaara from an attack by the Akatsuki....." I said slightly opening my eye and looking down while still having her face in my hands.

"That's why you have her chakra now....." He said with a chuckle, "Crazy how even in her death, she gave her all to you..."

I nodded slightly, a smile making it's way on my face.

"Well!" His voice enlightened back to usual, "That means you have a lot more chakra now! What you say, eternal rival?! Another challenge as soon as we reach back in the village!?"

I chuckled, "Sure, why not?"

"Come on, now! Let's go back to everyone. We have to do the final rituals too." He said and stood up.

I looked up at him and gave him a closed eye smile, "Thanks, Guy." I got up holding Y/N bridal style.

Guy has always been by my side. Ever since I lost everyone, Guy has been supporting me and made me feel emotions again. Even now, after her death, he's there to support me....

We got back where everyone was. We talked to Neji, he told us that Gaara was revived by Lady Chiyo in course of which, she had given up her own life. I looked at Naruto, he was happy while he hugged Gaara. I smiled when I felt two arms wrap around my neck from back.

I promise I'll take care of Naruto as you would have.

Naruto and Gaara looked at me, Gaara's eyes widened when Naruto told him how Y/N died. He quickly came to me along with Naruto.

"So, where will be her resting place...?" He asked in a low voice.

"In the leaf village! Isn't that obvious?" Lee said in his usual voice but quickly stepped back when he saw Naruto giving him death glare.

"No...." I said in a low voice, "The leaf village is the reason she died today. She was ready to die for hidden leaf yet they tried to kill her. She took on Orochimaru's summoning alone yet she was called a rogue ninja. It will be a disrespect to her if we take her back to that village...."

"So, you have a place in mind?" Guy said knowing I do.

I nodded, "The village where she was born." I looked at Naruto, "You know she is regarded as a hero in that village because she captured her father?"

Naruto's eyes widened in shock and he smiled, "That will be a perfect place!"

"It will be beside her mother too. So, she will finally have peace." I smiled.

"Great then! Let's go!" Naruto said excited.

"I will come with you too." Gaara said in a calm tone.

Guy and his team, Gaara, Naruto, Sasuke and me with Y/N in my arms quickly reached the village since it was pretty close. We straight away went to her house and spot the backyard where I saw her mother's gravestone the last time I came here.

As her resting place was being made, I sat on the wooden bench with her in my arms. My hand started stroking her hair gently as our old memories started flooding in front of my eyes like a short movie.

From the day we first met to our first kiss in the tent to the first time she didn't hesitate to be completely invulnerable in front of me to the first time we spent a night at the top of the rock face mountain to the time she tried to fool me by being someone else and I caught her to the first time we met after three years to the last time I held her in my arms and she breathe her last breath...

"We have travelled a pretty great journey together, Y/N..... Thank you for being with me through this all and future...." I whispered with a smile in a way no one else can listen and slowly planted a kiss on her forehead.

Soon, the last of the ritual was done. A smile crept onto my lips as I started feeling a pair of arms wrapped around my waist and a head laid on my chest. It felt just like hers.

When everything was done, I quickly turned to Guy, "Come on, we gotta get Lady Tsunade!"

"What do you mean? She's in the village!" Guy said confused.

Naruto shook his head, "That's a fake. That's why Y/N forbade me to go back into village. She knew it was a shadow clone." He smiled.

"So, where is the real one?" Gaara asked.

"Right down there. It's where Orochimaru's hideout is." I pointed at the kitchen.

"So, she trapped Granny Tsunade in Orochimaru's hideout?" Naruto asked and I nodded.

"What are we waiting for, then?!" Guy said in his enthusiastic voice.

Everyone went in to the kitchen but I stayed behind. I looked back at her gravestone and smiled whispering, "I'll come see you again, soon."

I quickly went in after that. I guided them to the third cabinet from the left and we all started going in. We reached the basement and went in the hideout through the wardrobe.

"Look out for traps." I said as I went on the path like Y/N said. We reached a room at the end, a small light was dangling from the ceiling.

It was sort of a jail so we could see what was going on inside. Lady Tsunade was sitting there, her hands were behind her back but, it didn't look like she was trapped. She was peacefully sleeping, there wasn't even any dirt on her clothes!

"Granny Tsunade!" Naruto screamed and quickly opened the door.

She awoke with a jerk and looked at us, "Oh, it's you guys..." She yawned and got back to normal.

She got up and showed us her hands tied with handcuffs that extract chakra. Guy broke them without hurting Lady Tsunade.

"So, Y/N told you about my location?" She said with a smile as she felt her chakra coming back in herself, "She didn't come with you?"

"She....died...." I said in a low voice.

"What...?" Her eyes widened.

"She died protecting me, Gaara and Kakashi sensei." Naruto said looking away.

"What else would I expect from her...?" Lady Tsunade said with a sad chuckle.

"Let's go back to village to kill the fake one!" Guy said in his enthusiastic voice.

I took them out of the hideout like I went with Y/N the time we came here. Gaara took his leave from us there and went back to his village. We made our way back to Hidden Leaf and the first thing Lady Tsunade did was punch the fake one out of the hokage building and take her seat.

(A/N: 57th Chapter!! It's so hard when you have to make the person you love, cry..... I don't want to write about Kakashi crying anymore!!!!😭)
