Face To Face

(3rd pov:)

~at the treehouse~

Naruto's ears stood on guard as soon as sound of branch cracking under someone's feet landed on his eardrums. He quickly got up and peered down from the small peek hole that Y/N had put in for him to see around the treehouse for any dangers without showing himself.

A big smile grazed his lips as he saw his sensei and teammate walking towards his treehouse. He also saw Shizune, the pupil of the best medical ninja, Tsunade Senju. The composition of the small group wasn't exactly how his sister had explained to him but, he still started to get ready to meet his sister again.

As he started fixing his clothes, her sister's words started echoing in his mind:

"I was just having an eye on him and I saw him going into a private room with another girl, most probably a strip dancer. That was the moment I decided that I would be the rogue ninja that the Hidden Leaf has turned me into. You were the only one left of me so, I decided to protect you and only you. I have kept an eye on you all these years and I gotta say, little bro.... You have grown up to be a fine young man!"

The fact that his sensei was the one to turn his sister into a rogue ninja boiled his blood but, when she said that she has seen him grow all these years, a smile came on his lips and he felt happy inside knowing that not only his godfather, pervy sage watched him grow but, his sister watched him too. His heart felt warm and he got back to start getting ready. Y/N did tell him that they would have to fight at least two members of the Akatsuki along with herself.

(Kakashi pov:)

It's almost about to be sundown and we all are totally worn out. We have completed half of our journey and we were looking for a clean spot to lay down our tents. But, as we reached the border of the Land of Fire, I sensed a familiar chakra and stopped everyone.

"Woah..." Shizune said, her eyes widened. 

I looked back at her and nodded. I looked back up on the tree where I was sensing the chakra. My eyes widened, the tree was turned into a beautiful treehouse. I climbed up into it and what I saw completely left me in shock. It was Naruto! He was fixing his headband and putting his tools into his weapon bags.

"Oh hey, Kakashi sensei!" He said with a smile looking at me.

"Naruto?!" I said in disbelief.

"NARUTO?!" I heard Sasuke and Shizune exclaim from down below.

Naruto jumped down from the treehouse and so did I.

"Naruto? How did you come here?" I asked him confused.

"Y/N made this for me. I told you she could never do it!" He said happily, "She did this to save me from dying!" 

Suddenly, he fell into deep thought and his expression turned angry as he attacked me with a kunai.

"Naruto! What are you doing?!" I asked, my eyes widened as I dodged his attacks.

"Y/N told me what you did! How dare you cheat on my sister?! It's your fault she turned rogue or she would still be in the village with us!" He said angrily.

I caught his wrists right on time before his kunai landed on me, "Oh....she told you about it.." I sighed as I immobilized him completely and made him drop his kunai, "It was a mission, Naruto. I had to get intel from that girl. What she did was totally out of the blue and I did not like it one bit! I would never do anything like that to your sister! In fact...I still love her...."

"Well, it's too late for that! She left us and now, we all have to go against her!" He said with a sad expression.

He calmed down and I let him go, "Well, if we want to protect Gaara, we will have to go against her."

"Don't you dare hurt her again!" Naruto threatened me.

"We will see about that tomorrow." Sasuke said to calm him down for now, "For now, let's just go to sleep."

Everyone nodded and we climbed inside the treehouse on Naruto's suggestion. Y/N had made this treehouse the best it could have been from the inside. All the basic necessities laid inside. We spent the night there peacefully. And thankfully, Naruto did not kill me in the night as I had expected him to. 

After all, he loves her like a real sister even though they are not blood related. She has taken care of him through his entire childhood when everyone in the village looked down on him and treated him like a pest.

She is literally like a beautiful flower, if taken care of, she will light up your life and make you happier then ever. But, as soon as you let her wilt and make her sad, she will fade away and she will never be the same towards you.

Same happened with me, I made her sad and now, she will never be the same towards me no matter what I say or do. She will continue to hate me, no matter what....

~next morning~

I was the first one to wake up followed by Sasuke and Shizune. Naruto, as usual had to be waken up by screams to his ear. We had our breakfast and headed back on our way to the hidden sand as soon as we could. We reached the village till about evening. Once, we reached.... (Things happened like in the real anime until Pakkun leads all of them + the Guy's team to the cave where extraction of Shukaku - The One Tailed Beast was happening. Guy's team and Kakashi undoes the seal and  Guy's team starts fighting their duals.)

(Y/N pov:)

Extraction of one tailed beast finally completed. My heart dropped watching him die. Inside my heart, I started screaming at Kakashi, he is late again. If he was at time just this one time, then Gaara would be alive right now....

"We will start with the Nine Tails extraction now." Pain stated bluntly and I saw shadow clone Naruto struggling. He is putting up quiet an acting, nice. 

As soon as a little bit of the nine tails chakra was extracted, the shadow clone disappeared, as expected. 

Pain looked at me furiously, "What is the meaning of this, Y/N?!"

I quickly shook my head, "I had no idea this will happen, I swear!"

"No need to worry, though...." Zetsu spoke up, "The nine tails is right outside with three other leaf shinobis and a granny."

Pain looked back at me, "Make sure you get him this time. Deidara and Sasori will stay to help you."

I nodded, "I will get nine tails and get my revenge too."

"Your wish on that." Pain went away saying that.

Everyone disappeared except Hidan, Deidara and Sasori.

Hidan came to me and kissed my forehead, "Take care, okay?"

I smiled, "Don't worry. I'll be fine."

Hidan went away as well. We stood in front of the entry as the boulder slowly got away. Deidara was sitting over Gaara's dead body, Sasori and me stood on either side of him. Honestly, I was furious inside. Deidara was disrespecting the boy my brother was friends with. But, I couldn't say anything either or I would create suspicion on myself. 

The boulder got away completely and I saw Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke and a grandma in their fighting stance.
