MY BIGGEST HATE IN Percy Jackson fan fictions are when your oc hates Annabeth. If you did this, or do this, I'm not kidding it hate you. (I'm kidding, not really)
JUST BECAUSE YOUR OC SHIP is with Percy does not mean that your oc and Annabeth have to have beef or whatever. Like, it is okay when done well but Annabeth is not a villain. Sure she's had her bad moments but you don't need to villainise her so much she becomes the enemy and bully in your book because that's not what she is. What happened to female empowerment? Girls support girls?
UNLESS YOU HAVE A VALID REASON like being a child of Poseidon so that your parents hate each other (then why are you writing a PERCY JACKSON x oc fan fiction, you weird son of a bitch??!) then I don't understand why your oc and Annabeth automatically hate each each other. I promise you canon Annabeth will not come over and slap you and call your oc slurs if they flirt with percy. I promise. So stop making her a villain to satisfy your ship because it doesn't work like you think it does and throws off your whole book.
WHY NOT MAKE THEM FRIENDS? Literally what is stopping them? Annabeth doesn't have to like Percy in your books, with your oc in the picture things probably change and she might not even like him. If they are gonna be enemies, give it a real reason beside she canonically likes Percy. If you don't you're a whore.
