"Jun?"
"Yes mom?"
"Do me a favor and help your cousin get his glasses from the hospital."
Renjun looked away from his computer screen for a minute and then went back to reading about constellations and galaxies. "Which one?"
"Do you think I would ask you if it was Jaehyun?"
"Fair point, but I refuse."
"Why? Aren't you and Yangyang close?"
Renjun closes his eyes and sighs. "Mom, its 4 in the morning."
"He broke his glasses."
"He can get new ones himself."
"He's packing for tomorrow."
Renjun harshly ran his tongue across his teeth. "Idiot."
Renjun's mom, Soojung, smacked the back of his head. "He's your cousin, be nice Jun."
"Why can't aunt Xiening take him?"
"She's busy helping your uncle with his work."
"So? He's her niece, technically I bear no responsibility towards him."
"He's still your cousin. Now, you take him to the hospital or I'm not letting you touch that telescope for a week."
"Mom!"
"I said what I said."
Renjun groaned. "Alright." Shutting his computer down, he muttered underneath his breath. "What a nuisance."

"Bomin!!" Jisoo screamed as Bomin fell on his knees, clutching his stomach. She and Johnny rushed towards him just as Jieun caught him in her arms.
"Bomin! W-why...." Jieun gasped in shock. Her mind was in a state of panic and her eyes were filled up to the brim with tears. Jieun's hands desperately tried to stop the bleeding and put pressure on Bomin's wound as she frantically screamed at Johnny to call an ambulance.
Coughing repeatedly, Bomin placed one hand on Jieun's and with the other, reached out for Jisoo's hand. Holding both of their hands, he gave a small smile. "S-so m-much c-concern.... had I k-known before, I would g-gladly get shot e-everyd-"
"Stop moving you idiot!" Jisoo cried angrily. "Don't you dare close your eyes!"
Bomin chuckled, "I bet, you'll miss me annoying you..." With some effort, he put on a cheeky smile. "Oh but I'll be more sad than you, b-because I won't be able to g-get on your nerves now~"
Jisoo shook her head. "Annoy me all you want and I swear I won't say a thing, just... don't you dare leave."
"I don't do promises well sis." Bomin then turned his head to see Jieun. "Eun-ah..." Painfully, he lifted his hand to gently brush her cheeks. "Do me a favour will you?" He coughed as blood started gathering in his mouth. "Mom and dad... don't tell them what actually happened. Let this truth die with me. Promise?"
"Stop sounding like you are going to die!! You won't die. I- I wouldn't let you... I can't-" Tears ran down her cheeks uncontrollably but Jieun bit her lips to suppress her cries. "Please. Don't talk like that..."
"Eun-ah... promise me."
Jieun shook her head in denial but Bomin clasped her hand firmly. "There you go. You promised, don't you dare break it."
"Min-"
Ambulance sirens blared into the silent night. With hazy eyes, Jieun looked up to see Taeyong rush inside and engulf her in a hug. The paramedics and the rest of the Neo police team followed behind.
