Tw: kind of liquor abuse, heavy smut
"It was originally from a small town in Italy, rumor said it was bound to a love tale that every Italian knows and believes in. Over hundred years ago they found the receipt under the-"
"If he keeps on going about how the grape must be round and in a beautiful, vivid purple color I'm going to drown myself in the next wine." I complain quietly making Tommy chuckle behind me and an older couple turn their heads towards us to give us a death glare.
"Sorry." I say sheepishly before I hide my face behind the glass, taking another sip.
Five glasses of wine and I feel like I can't stand on my own two feet but luckily Tommy came to my aid and lets me lean against his side.
"Do you even remember which wine tasted the best?" I whisper towards him while Lorenzo's son keeps on going about wine and it's beauty.
He looks down at me and grins lightly, his eyes glazed over like mine are probably.
"I thought you were the expert, it tasted all the same to me." My eyes widen in horror at his words.
"God Tommy. Daisy is going to kill us!" I say and slap his chest lightly. He catches my wrist in his hand and pulls my body against his chest making my mouth drop open.
"Would you relax. She said we could choose so it doesn't matter which one we'll take, every wine was good." He says and I sigh while I allow him to pull my back against his chest.
"Okay." I murmur while my eyes stay on the people in front of us while Tommy winds his arms around my stomach from behind.
I catch Jenna in the crowd standing beside her parents and a shiver runs down my spine when I see her eyes right on me.
She freaks me out."Did I already tell you that you look gorgeous today?" Tommy whispers in my ear, making my heart thrum beautifully.
"Because you do look gorgeous." He whispers and he pulls me tighter against his chest making me melt right into it.
Somewhere in the deep ends of my hazy mind I know I should say no to this but it just feels so good.
And the rich satisfaction at the jealous look on Jenna's face makes it double worth it."Tommy?"
"Hmm?" He murmurs his chin resting on my shoulder.
"Are you drunk?"
"Just easily tipsy." He says and my lips twitch.
"How are we going to get home."
"That's a really good question darling." His breath tickles my neck, while my stomach flutters when he calls me darling.
Alarm bells ring loudly in my mind but I get distracted when new glasses get passed around and the crowd gets swiped up into their own conversations.
"Hello. Sorry I couldn't introduce myself earlier, you're here for Daisy's wedding right?" Lorenzo's son, which I still don't know the name of approached us quietly.
I gently get out of Tommy's arms to shake the mans hand.
"We are. I'm her sister Emilia, this is Thomas, Rylands best man." I say and he nods shaking my hand.
"I'm Ricardo. Daisy already put a smaller exclusive list for the wine when she was here once and told me you could decide which one to get for the wedding." He says and I share an unsure look with Tommy who shrugs his shoulders.
"Okay." I say and follow Ricardo out of the room, Tommy trailing behind me.
We walk through many halls, the walls made out of the same bricks, before we end in a small little cabin.
