Chapter 15.

Kate's POV .

Shannon text me telling me she was staying the night at Kelsies. I haven't talked to Jai since we hung out. He still didn't tell me what he wanted to say. But I guess it wasn't important even though I really wanted to know.

I just wish he had admitted his undying love for me. But nah that's not gonna happen.

I go to the bathroom to change my tampon. Yes I know fuck mother nature. Why can't she text me every month saying ' hayy gurl your not pregnant see ya" but nooo she has to do it the hard way.

At about ten o clock I get into bed and scroll through my twitter. Jai's most recent tweet was from two days ago and it was a picture of him and a fan. Gosh he's sloth smile is so cute ! I turn my phone off and go to sleep.

I am awoken by a loud banging noise coming from the apartment door. I turn the lamp on and check the time. It was 11.50pm.

Why would someone be banging loudly at my door at midnight? Holy fuck what if its an axe murderer. Well why would he be knocking. Maybe he wants me to think I have a visitor then he chops my head off !

The banging doesn't stop. So I jump out of bed and run into the kitchen. I pull the cutlery drawer open and take out a knife.

I walk slowly to the door and unlock it. I'm gonna die I'm gonna die. Where's my mam when I need her. I open the door and point the knife at the figure.

"Holy shit!" Jai yelled looking at the big knife I held in my hand.

"Fucking hell Jai why the fuck are you here at midnight!" I yelled back.

"I needed someone to talk to. Someone i trusted" Jai replied frowning.

"Come in" I said moving out of the way and putting the knife back in its drawer.

" So what did you want to talk about?" I asked sitting down on the sofa beside Jai.

"I just. Me and the boys left Luke I mean we were all sick of him treating everyone like shit. He used to be so nice and funny now he's a dick. We all miss him. Beau misses he's brother. I miss my twin Kate" He said all in one breath. He's eyes began to water which made my heart break.

"He's turning into my Dad"He sighed letting a few tears drop down he's cheeks.

"What do you mean ?" I asked shifting in my seat.

Jai took a deep breath and wiped a tear away before speaking."My dad was an asshole, he'd stay out all night drinking and treat everyone like shit. He even treated my mom like shit. One day he hit her and gave her a black eye so she left"

"I'm sorry" I whispered. After Jai finished his speech he was now in tears.

"Kate?" He asked looking up." You know when you cried and you asked me to hold you... Could you hold me ?"

I didn't say anything just nodded. Jai just placed his head on my chest and I ran my hand through his hair.We were both silent. The only noises that could be heard were Jai's soft cries.

Last month he was holding me while I cried but now I'm holding him while he cries about he's brother. I guess everyone cries over Luke.

Luke should grow the fuck up and realize he's going to loose everyone close to him. He's going to loose hes best friend, brother and twin.

"Jai, he'll cop on and realize how bad he's treating you all" I sooth rubbing his hair.

Jai's body stiffened before mumbling maybe. Jai stayed in the same position as I continued to run my hand through his hair.

"Kate" he mumbled. "I like you but I like the normal Kate"

"What do you mean ?" I asked confused. Is he calling me abnormal? My stomach done a backflip when he said I like you.

" I like the Kate you want to be. I know you hate loads of makeup and shit" He said raising his head and looking me in the eye. "Why do you wear it ?"

"I feel ugly without it" I sighed playing with the ends of my hair too embarrassed to look him in the eye.

" Kate you look beautiful without it. You could never look ugly even if your in baggy sweat pants and messy hair. I like this Kate" He smiled cheesily rubbing my cheek with his thumb.

That was honestly the sweetest thing a boy has ever said to me. It made my heart melt and skip and a beat. I'm used to boys saying nice boobs and sexy ass but no Jai isn't like most boys. He's sweet caring and kind. He is everything a girl looks for in a boy. Here I am at midnight comforting a crying man (omg it makes him sound all old when i say man) and now he's admiting he's feelings for me.

"Fuck I'm doing it" I muttered.

"Doing what ?" He asked.

"Falling for someone" I whispered staring into his brown eyes. I had in fact falling for him.

" let's make the most of this moment" he grinned placing both hands on my cheeks and pulling me in towards him.

Our lips touched. It felt so right. It was even better than the last time. Hes lips were so soft. The kiss was slow and steady but passionate at the same time. Jai ran his hand through my hair. This kiss couldnt be anymore perfect.

"Let's go to bed" Jai said pulling away before taking my hand and leading my to my bedroom.

No we didn't have sex. We cuddled until we fell asleep. Jai said he wanted to make it perfect. He didn't want to rush things. We fell asleep in eachothers arms.

It was great to know he wasn't using me for my body. No Jai isn't like that. Jai is....perfect.
