As the screen was loading my phone dinged, telling me that I had gotten a new message. I rubbed at my tired eyes, sitting at a computer screen for over a half hour really took it's toll on the eyes, if not used to it. I picked up my phone to check the message since the computer was taking forever to load.
I stared at the screen looking at the message Annabelle had sent me. The lighting changed slightly as the computer changed from plain white to other colors, causing me to glance up at the screen. I skimmed over the new screen.
"Oh my god," I muttered under my breath.
I jumped up from the gray metal chair knocking it over in the process. I looked around for my dagger and athame. Matt. . . Airy. . .Worst of all Claire. They all were against us and Annabelle is probably walking in on their trap right now.
She could handle herself, but she probably didn't have any spare weapons with her and four against one isn't exactly a fair fight. They would kill her quickly if I don't get there in time to stop it.
I darted out the door and headed to the run down part of town, hoping She would still be alive by the the time I got there.

I jogged ahead of Jordan and got to the area he told me they were at before he did.
"Wait did I make a wrong turn?" I asked confused when I saw no one. I was in the same area that I had slit the pale boy's throat at. I walked further into the U shaped area.
"Nope we're all right here."
I heard a dangerous tone in his voice. I turned around confused to realize I was right. I was walking into a trap.
"Claire!" I said shock showing in my voice as I stared at her my mouth hanging open.
She laughed at my shock. "I would spend time explaining, but you've seen the movies -probably- that kills the villain," she said and then as an after thought, "then again you're the villain."
I fumbled with the first aid kit backing away from them. They pulled out their weapons. They had swords. The first aid kit finally opened and bandages fell out to reveal a dagger. It wasn't much, but Jesse always told me to hide one in the first aid kit. Back then I laughed but did it anyway. Now I was grateful.
I tossed the small plastic box away and got into a fighting stance, my right hand holding the dagger was in front of my left, my knees bent. I watched all of them, as I attempted to keep the thoughts of most likely death to the back of mind.
They all came at me at once causing me to gasp involuntarily. I kept my position even with fear making its home inside me. My heart was beating hard giving me the adrenaline I'll probably need. My stomach was in knots with fear and anticipation.
Matt's sword came at me full force, I barely stopped it from slashing me in half. Too bad I had to let the battle between strength stop, and duck as another sword came at me I did a kick to hopefully knock one or more of them off their feet. I only manage to successfully cause one of them to lose their balance and fall causing their sword to skitter across the pavement.
I did the stupidest thing I've ever done and ran for it without keeping my guard up. I felt a blade embed itself into my back causing me to face plant and cry out at the same time. My dagger slid across the uneven, dark pavement. Pain envelope my back and face. I felt the blood slowly bleed out of me. I could feel it sticking my shirt to my back.
I knew it might not be good to pull the sword out of my back as it's keeping some of the blood in my body, but I also knew I had to, I had to keep the fight up as long as I could. Vague hope was barely in me that someone might come and help, but doubt overrided such thoughts.
I bent my arms back trying to grasp the sword to pull it out to realize pulling it out would never work from this angle. I screamed so loudly as I wince in pain. My arms fell limp. The sword had been pulled out of my back, along with blood followed some of it stayed on the sword, but for the most part it poured out of my wound.
I didn't know if I was panicking and that's what caused my breaths to be shallow or if it was blood loss. What I did know was I had to move.
I'd barely reached out my arm when I felt my side being lifted up by a foot that caused the rest of my body to flip. I yelled out as pain spider webbed throughout my body. The wound made contact with the dirty uneven gravel and small rocks were pushed into, and around the area of the wound. I gritted my teeth as I tried to focus my vision. I was so dizzy and that's when I knew I was done for.
"And you were suppose to be close to one of the bests too. Your side must really suck." I hear Claire say I couldn't see her.
My voice weak I responded barely above a whisper. "Four against one. Tough on anyone with only dagger against swords." I coughed, I felt blood hit my face and into a wound on my cheek that I hadn't realized I'd given myself from the fall.
"True."
I heard a shout of no as she plunged her sword into my chest for a final time.

A/N
Honestly when I was writing Claire's line about villains I had finally realized that Annabellle, Jesse, Zach, and Sky were villains. I kind of forgot throughout writing this and I really hope that doesn't show.
This chapter is dedicated to WeepingWillow17 because she's been supporting this story for so long even though this took me a year and some months to write. Plus she really wanted to know what I was planning for the end and what I was gonna do to Annbelle.
Critism wanted (I've been so nervous for this chapter because it's the first battle scene I've ever written.)and I mean nice comments works too.
One more chapter after this one and it's over. :) (I'm actually kind of sad it's ending.)
Have a good day/night/ whatever time it is where you are! <3
