Shaun POV
I paced around the living room, waiting for them to return.
"We already saw the news. They should be back soon." Greg said.
"That's what I'm afraid of. Without a doubt, Hawkmoth and The House Of Owls would've caught wind of the news." I said.
I heard a knock on the door. I peeked through the pigeon hole and saw Alex and his friends. I opened the door and let them in.
"Thanks for letting us in, Shaun." Alex said with a smirk.
"No problem, Kid." I replied.
"Wait. Where's Alya?" Greg asked.
Nino shook his head.
"She was to far gone. I'm sorry." He said sadly.
We exchanged confused looks.
"I thought you said there was a flaw in the chips." Myra said.
"We were-" Luka said until he was interrupted by a man in a black and cyan snake jumpsuit with black boots and a matching mask.
"That's not us!" Luka shouted as he pulled out his lyre. The others pulled out their weapons.
"What the hell!?" I gasped.
"You can't fool us, Vex. Or should I say Luka." Alex said with contempt.
Vex chuckled and changed into his true form. A black and grey jumpsuit with black boots and a mask shaped like the letter V. The duplicates disappeared.
"Guess I underestimated you, Le Loup. How are your broken ribs?" He asked with a sly tone.
"Cut the crap, Luka. I thought you're done." Alex replied with contempt.
"Don't call me Luka. It's Lord Vex now. Luka was a pathetic waste of space." Vex said bitterly.
"What are you talking about?" Nino asked.
"Let's just say that he'll be out for as long as I wish." He replied with a smirk. An arrow flew into the window and struck my shoulder.
"What the f-" I said and blacked out.
Alex POV
"Que diable?" I gasped as another arrow struck Greg and Myra. They collapsed onto the ground. I saw a familiar face. A smirking man with faux hair and in a red and black jumpsuit with red boots and a red quiver with arrows and a bow in his hands.
"Dark Cupid!?" I exclaimed. He smirked and fired a barrage of arrows at us. We ran out of the apartment and onto the streets, surrounded by all the akumas we've defeated. Stormy Weather, Stoneheart, Refleckta, The three Vegas, etc.
"What the hell is this!?" Tina gasped as she drew her bow.
"The akumas we defeated from the very beginning. And my guess is that Hawkmoth is the cause of this. " I said as I twirled my Kali sticks.
"Hawkmoth said we only needed The Outlaws. As for them, do what you want with them." Vex said as Horrificator picked up the unconscious bodies of Shaun and lumbered away.
"VEX! COME DOWN AND FIGHT US LIKE A MAN!" I roared out.
"You're in no position to demand anything, you cosplaying Batman!" Vex taunted.
Zoe snickered. I shot a glare at her.
"S-sorry. It was funny." She said.
"Not to me." I growled.
"GET THEM!" Vex shouted out as the akumas ran towards us.
