Alex POV
Tina fired an arrow at Spade King, who deflected it with his sword. I swung my Kali Sticks downwards . He rolled out of the way and kicked me in the stomach. I fell on my back and rolled back onto my feet. Tina swiped her sword at Spade King. He blocked the blade with his own and punched her in the jaw. She tumbled onto the ground. I quickly tackled Spade King away from Tina and onto the ground. He kicked me of him.
"Let's go somewhere more fitting." He said and pulled out the horse sunglasses from his pocket. He summoned a portal and jumped through. We followed him and landed on the roof of a building.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"Remember this place, Alex? This is where you beat me. You should've killed me there and then. But you didn't." Spade King said as he twirled his sword. I recognised the roof. The Spade Clan's brothel. Their main HQ.
"I don't want to sink to your level." I replied.
"It doesn't matter what you do, you will always be nothing more than a laughing stock to the world." He chuckled. "You and your whore of a girlfriend, a bastard of a father and a bitch of your mother."
"I'd rather be a laughing stock than be a rapist and a murderer like you, Spade King." I replied.
"And I don't care what you think of us. We are heroes in our own right. And we stand up to all kinds of injustice." Tina added.
"And that what makes us different from you!" We both concluded.
Spade King's eye twitched in anger.
"How romantic. I will enjoy burying you together!" He growled and darted at us. We traded blows, dodging and countering each other. Tina swiped her sword at Spade King but he blocked it and kicked her away. Her head hit the wall and she fell to the ground, unconscious.
Enraged, I unleashed a flurry of attacks. Spade King blocked the attacks and slashed his sword my stomach. I stepped back and clutched my stomach. He thrusted his sword at my shoulder, pinning me to the ground. I tried to move but the blade slowly entered my shoulder.
"Time to die, Le Loup." He said with a smile and pulled out a silver revolver. He clicked the chamber and pointed it at me.
Suddenly, an arrow pierced into his arm, causing him to drop his gun. I looked to my left and saw Tina with her bow in her hand. Her forehead had a bloody gash and her hood was down, revealing her sweaty face.
"You-!" Spade King gasped. Seeing his guard is down, I fired a crossbow bolt at his eye. He stepped back and tried to remove the bolt from his eye. I yanked the sword from my shoulder and tossed it aside. Picking up my Kali Sticks, I repeatedly struck Spade King, each blow painful than the last. With one final strike to the chin, I knocked him off his feet and onto the ground. He glared at me with one eye.
"Are you going to kill me, Le Loup? Or are you too much of a coward to do it?" He taunted.
"Alex, he's not worth it. Don't kill him." Tina said.
I glared at him.
"The hero walks the line but knows where to stand. The villain crosses the line so many times, they don't even see it anymore." I said. Spade King stared at me with confusion.
"You crossed the line way to many times. I won't do the same." I added as I cuffed him to a drainpipe and took the Horse Miraculous from him.
"Coward!" Spade King shouted. I punched him in the head, knocking him out. Tina bandaged my wounded arm and stomach.
" I've called the police. They should be here any second now." Tina said as she helped my up to my feet. I nodded. Kaalki nuzzled my cheek.
"I thank you, Sir Alexander." She said with a bow.
"No problem. Can you teleport us back to The Hose of Owls' HQ?" I said.
"But your injuries-" Tina said.
"I'll be fine." I smiled but winced . "Sort of."
Kaalki nodded and summoned a portal to the island.
"Let's go." I said.
Tina nodded.
Together, we entered the portal.
