Adrien POV
I dodged another sword swipe from Hawkmoth and struck my staff on his abdomen. His armour shrugged of the blow.
"How? How are you alive? The News said you died in prison!?" I demanded.
"That I can't tell you. But I shall tell you this. You made the mistake of fighting against your father." He replied and punched me in the jaw. I fell to the ground and spat out a broken tooth.
"He's not your son anymore, Hawkmoth." Marinette shouted out as she threw her yoyo and wrapped it around his arm. Hawkmoth smirked and yanked his arm back, pulling her towards his sword. I quickly used Cataclysm to destroy the sword. Hawkmoth grabbed me by the neck and slammed me into the ground.
Marinette POV
I snapped a kick at Hawkmoth. He dodged and kicked me in the stomach. I fell backwards and rolled back onto my feet. We continued to exchange blows. I threw a punch at Hawkmoth. He caught my arm and elbowed it. I screamed as my arm snapped in half. Adrien got up from the ground and threw a punch at Hawkmoth. He dodged and kneed him in the stomach. As he fell to the ground, he stomped on his head, knocking him out.
"Pathetic." Hawkmoth chuckled and kicked me in the mouth.
Alya POV
I watched as Nino crashed onto the ground, unconscious.
"Guess if you time your strike right, the shell will crack eventually." Lila said with a scoff as she kicked aside Nino.
I got up and spat out some blood. We exchanged blows, dodging each others attacks. I swung my staff at Lila's stomach. She caught the tip of my staff and slashed her sword at my shoulder. I stepped back and clutched my wounded shoulder. Lila wacked my staff on the base of my skull. I crumbled to the ground.
"I'd kill you now. But it would be too easy. So instead, I'll get my friends to play with you." Lila chuckled as she beaconed on a group of convicts.
"Remember us, Rena Rouge?" One of them said.
"You put us in the slammer." The second one added.
"Now, we're gonna have our fun with you." The third said as they pulled me to my feet and brutally pummelled me to the point I couldn't get up.
Nino POV
I got up and saw Alya getting beaten up by a group of convicts. I pulled out my shield and threw it as hard as I can. Lila caught the shield and wacked it across my face. I rolled across the ground, coughing up some blood. I felt a sword prick my back and winced in pain.
"What will you do now, Shell Boy?" Lila taunted as she slowly plunged the sword deeper into my spine. I tried not to scream in pain. Before Lila could finish me of, I saw fist crash into her face. Lila tumbled towards the ground but recovered quickly. Juleka as Purpled Tigress stood in front of me with her bolas in her hand. Rose as Pigletta dragged me to safety. Luka and Zoe returned to the fight.
Tina POV
I dodged another sickle swipe and swung my sword at Chloe. She deflected it with her gauntlet and punched me in the jaw. I stumbled backwards. Alex jabbed his Kali sticks at her. She paired them with her chain and swiped her blade at him. Alex backflipped out of the way and fired his wrist mounted crossbow at her. Chloe caught the bolt and snapped it in half.
With her guard down, I quickly jabbed my sword at Chloe. She caught the blade and kicked me aside. I crashed into the railing and blacked out.
Alex POV
"Tina!" I cried out and rushed towards her. I checked her pulse and sighed with relief. Her pulse is still present but there was a wound on her head.
"Why protect the weak when being a hero is nothing more than a burden?" Chloe asked as she sheathed her chain scythe and twirled Tina's sword in her hand. I got up and walked towards her. She swung the sword at me I caught it with my Kali sticks.
"You never knew why I became The Vigilante? Unlike you, I became a hero to prevent people from suffering the same tragedy as I had when my parents were killed. I never did it to feed my own ego. Something you've been doing all this time, Miracle Queen. That's why you and I are different." I replied as I pushed back.
Chloe scoffed. "You think anyone gives a damn about you deadweight parents? Maybe some do. But me. I don't. You can burn in hell along with you pathetic girlfriend."
"You'll have to go through me first." I said. An energy blast was fired towards me. I quickly backflipped out of the way. I saw my attacker and gasped.
"No. It can't be." I saw The Spade King wearing a red and black armour with a sword pointing at me.
"Hello again, Le Loup." He said as he blitzed forward. I quickly parried his strikes before he flash kicked me in the jaw, knocking my mask off. I quickly flipped in mid air and landed on my feet. I panted for breath and wiped the blood from my lips.
"Finish them off. We have what we came here for." Hawkmoth called out as the henchmen picked up Marinette, Adrien and Alya. I quickly raced towards Hawkmoth, only to get blasted backwards by Chloe. She threw Tina's sword at my feet. Spade King smirked at me before he joined them. I looked to my left and saw Juleka and Rose unconscious and dragged away. Luka slumped against the wall, alive but covered in cuts and bruises. Zoe was also out cold.
"You're not getting away!" I roared out and charged towards them. Hawk Moth sighed and fired a shadow sphere at me. I quickly used my forcefield to block the sphere but the blast knocked me into a building. By the time I got out, they were gone.
"Alex!" Nino called out to me. I limped towards him and helped him up.
"They took Alya, Marinette, Adrien, Rose and Juleka." I said.
"What did they want with them?" Tina asked, tying a bandage around her wounded forehead.
"I don't know." Luka panted.
"I think you should be more concerned about your friends." A voice in my earpiece said.
"Spade King!? How the hell did you-!?" I shouted.
"Forget about me. You should go after The Outlaws." He said with a light chuckle. And with that he hung up. I dialled Shaun's number but the call went straight to voice mail. Then, Rodrigo called my number.
"Alex! I just went to The Outlaw's HQ and it's up in flames! Shaun, Myra and the others made it out but the others died in the fire!" He said frantically.
"WHAT!? Hang on, we're on our way." I shouted and hung up.
"What happened?" Zoe asked me.
"The Outlaw's HQ is up in flames. Rodrigo said the fire brigade managed to take out the flames but not everyone made it out." I said.
"Then let's head there right now." Luka said with urgency. We nodded and made our way to The Outlaw's HQ.
