Their mum slowly let Everly go after she had calmed down. Helen Handed her daughter her favourite stuffed animal that her husband had bought her when she was a baby.
Edmund sat down next to Everly before pushing her head into his chest, cuddling her. After a couple of hours she fell asleep with the rest of her family.
The next morning they were at the train station getting ready to leave their home. It was almost time to go on the train "you all need to keep these on, okay are you all warm enough, good promise you'll stay close to your siblings" she said to Lucy before moving on to Susan "susan, be a big girl, okay?" Are they hugged there mum in turns before Mrs Pevensie went to her youngest child "you'll be a good girl won't you, you'll be okay"then turn to all her children before saying "I will see you again" .
Mrs Pevensie went over to Edmund and put on his tag before hugging him "if dad were here he wouldn't make us go" Edmund said "if dad was here it'd mean the war was over and we wouldn't have to go" Peter said "you'll listen to your brother, won't you Edmund." Edmund stayed silent.
she went to kiss his head but he moved away so she lightly kissed his hair line.
now it was Peters turn "promise me you'll look after the others" their mum whispered in his ear gently "I will mum" Peter said "make sure you look after Everly she needs her big brother" she whispered before pulling back.
Peter nodded picking Everly up and pulling her a ear mittens tighter around her. "alright off you go" she told her children
Peter picked up his and Everly's case and gave Everly's to Susan to hold, Everly started crying "mum-mmy mummy" reaching her hands out her her mother.
"It's okay honey I'll see you again, and your big brother is going to look after you, okay?" she said grabbing her hands and kissing them softly.
