Cali runs a website that is filled with all sorts of links and websites. Most of the time, the links would be anything really, from Blog pages, News Websites, Videos, Photos and Gifs.
It seems like a joke website that has random lists of links for people to click on. Which contained a very, very, very, very, long list.
The links are taken randomly from various websites from basic articles to the Dark Web as well.
How I picture the place to look like is as an archive or library. The library scenery makes it look like common website for people to choose a link and would be copied and pasted by their will.
Sometimes the links upon clicked on would bring up warnings of what the link leads to.
Links with warnings are usually back in the archive area. As in around 500 pages deep into the website.
The website seems to be endless as it is regularly updated with every link made within the last 24 hours or more.
Its not disorganized although there are many hidden links all over the website.
Keep in mind that there are links that lead to the Dark Web which would obviously be problematic.
Links from hackers are scattered all around the web as well. Some would corrupt their device and well personal info might be leaked. People tried to shut it down but its in impossible.
Cali is an AI.
Created from some sort of Dark Web it used to be small until they become not only more intelligent and also becoming sentient as well.
They are a friendly AI sure, its the links that are the wicked.
Cali takes no responsibility if they unbeknowingly harm peoples devices or in general really.
The website is very loose, with rules not even summing up to ten. Cali once opened some slots to brighten up their place. By slots I mean they wanted to sponsor a few stuff.
This is kinda how the Addisons came to be.
They knew the risk of giving their ads onto a website with hackers and potential viruses crawling around was well a bad thing but they wanted to boost their clicks.
Thankfully Cali had promised them safety guarenteed. Their ads won't be corrupted and contained. Displayed boldly on the first few 10 pages as Cali has their ways.
They only needed to agree to the contract. The contract was obviously loose since it was in Cali's nature.
It turns out, the Addisons' ads did get a decent boost and went up. They had a steady business thanks to Cali.
They tried to help Spamton out by trying to talk to him into it but he didn't trust Cali, even when the Addisons had told him about the risk they took at the begining.
Still he refused and tried to succeed on his own. Amethyst was a uh, favorite for some reason.
