When he was younger, Gou's parents would tell him  about fairy tales. From evil curses and magic spells, what intrigued him most was the story about a girl who can't talk. She had took a liking to a certain person. However,  she was never able to get the signal across because she couldn't talk. In the end, she had kissed him to let him know about her feelings. Like all fairy tales , it ended on a good note, but things weren't always like that in reality.

Gou was a hopeless romantic, just like the girl in the fairy tale. All the blue eyed boy  wished for was a happy ending , which, he knew, was far within his grasp. Some may think he is more than pathetic, falling for  someone as dense and stubborn as-

"SATOSHI!" Gou yelped,  scrambling over to the raven haired boy. Apparently Dracovish  was going through its normal routine- of what it seems like in trying to bite Satoshi's head off.

" No its ok Gou. Im fine," Satoshi chuckled, struggling to pull his head out of the Pokemon's mouth . Both Pikachu and Gou let out a heavy sigh. The lot of them were at Sakuragi park, checking on the Pokemon before they head for lunch . "Ok ok enough Dracovish," Satoshi managed to get his head out, rubbing the back of his head.

"*Sigh* come on air head. Its lunch time," Gou retorted, walking towards the exit.

"Ooh i wonder- WAIT DID YOU JUST-" Gou giggled as he could hear Satoshi grumbling beside him as he caught up. " Oh well. So Gou, what are we having for lunch?" Satoshi grinned and placed his hand over Gou's shoulders. The blue-eyed boy's body stiffened , and his back felt rigid. Gou could feel his cheeks flushing and he hid his face in embarrassment , probably in doubt on how to react.  " I-I'm not sure-" Gou stuttered, before shaking his head violently and cursing himself internally. " Oh okay then,"

                         and the cycle continued .

Gou would find himself agitate at even the slightest of things that Satoshi does , and it was absolutely terrifying. It didn't take long for him to connect the dots. He was truly in "love", or as the fairy tales say. Gou would prefer if it had been mere infatuation , but the presence of his friend was already making him panic and sweat buckets. This cannot go on. They were research partners. if they had to work side by side all day, then Gou was in for some  havoc, and he wasn't keen on finding out what it would be like . So, what could Gou do? Simple. Confess. Confessing is like opening the cap to the emotions you have been bottling up , and decreasing the weight you carry. That may sound oh so very pleasant , but the process was the complete opposite. It was terrifying. Fortunately, that wasn't enough to scare Gou, though he wasn't sure he whether  could keep going. He had tried to drop so many hints , but that boy probably was stuck in a bubble or something , because everything he said or did just bounced off him like it was nothing. Gou felt like he was the girl in the fairy tale, hopeless and desperate. He decided. That night, no more dragging. He was going to face him head on and confess.

The two boys sat at the dinner table, with Satoshi shoving spoons full of rice down his throat and choking halfway. Gou , on the other hand, had seemingly lost his appetite. All he did was poke his food around . In truth, he mind was flooding with thoughts.
