It was raining heavily, dark clouds enveloped the sky and heavy droplets of water pelting against the glass window.
Satoshi, Gou and Koharu sat at the dining table, breakfast in the process of being prepared. Gou kept occasionally glancing at the window, sighing sadly.
"Eh? what's wrong Gou?" Koharu raised an eyebrow. She knew she certainly wouldn't trust him to answer "normally".
" I cant believe the weather would be so harsh on us. Now i can't go out and catch more Pokemon," Of course. A completely expected answer from the one and only. Koharu rolled her eyes.She yelped at the sound of thunder, followed by a clap of lightning. She turned around and stared at the dark clouds outside. The atmosphere seemed so sad, and the sky was just so very dull.
" Cheer up, Gou! Maybe a small break won't be that bad," Satoshi placed his hand on Gou's shoulder, smiling brightly.
Koharu paid no attention to them, partly because she didn't want to .Instead, she chose to just stare at the clouds. Soon after, the 2 boys followed her gaze. Together with Koharu, Satoshi and Gou were also admiring the sky. Well- there wasn't much to actually admire. The once blue pastel sky was grayish black, and it wasn't very interesting to just see shades of black and gray being mixed together like paint. The raven haired boy grumbled incomprehensible words, before going back to staring at the clouds, and then a small grin started to form on his face slowly.
" Hey, Gou, do you remember the time where Lugia appeared?" Satoshi seemed to be at the edge of his seat. His excitement would mean that if Gou replies with a "No", it would be a very serious slap on the back for poor Gou.
" Yes! There was a huge storm at the dock, if i remember correctly," a smile found its way to Gou's lips, good memories being replayed. And that, of course, saved him from a terrible back ache.
" Before that, you texted me about having a " fateful encounter". Was that with Lugia, or with the big eater?" Koharu pointed at Satoshi, who was wolfing down a whole sandwich. She felt a small tug at the side of her lips when Gou's face started to burn a bright red. Satoshi was resisting the urge to just strangle Koharu for the same reasons, and also because she called him a 'big-eater'.
" YOU GOT THE WRONG IDEA! I WAS REFERRING TO LUGIA!" Gou stood up and slammed the table, a dark red hue still spread across his cheeks. Satoshi wiped his lips and nodded in agreement. Koharu eyed the two, before shrugging."Whatever you say,"
" When Lugia came out of the storm, it was in some kind of blackish sphere. It was really cool!" Satoshi shook off his previous embarrassment and was bringing the story back on track.
" Speaking of spheres, do you remember the time where the Gokurin were sticking onto everything, and that resulted in creating a huge - thing- with you 2 right in the middle?I would have fainted right on the spot," Koharu "dramatically" sighed.
"Honestly, who doesn't remember?" Gou proceeded to grab one of the buns on the plate." i remember very clearly that Satoshi was even enjoying it," Koharu stared at him, disgusted.
"Oh give me a break. It was so exciting! It felt like i was on a roller coaster,"
"NOT WHEN YOU COMPLETELY CAN'T SEE!" Gou huffed. " The Gokurin really brought a lot of trouble. Who knew they could be so sticky? Even my Caterpie's string shot can't compare with even half of it's stickiness. " Gou shuddered at that thought. Rinsing one's head thoroughly 53 times due to something can really change someone.
" Hey did you know that it so happens that the first Pokemon i caught was a Caterpie too?" Satoshi laughed, Gou bewildered at the extreme coincidence. "After it evolved into a Butterfree, I released it during its mating season," Satoshi gazed off into a distance, like an old man reliving his past memories."i wonder what it's doing now...,"
"YOU TWO! LOOK!" The astonishment in Koharu's voice caught the 2 off guard. Koharu was by the window, peering out. Odd enough, it seemed like a miracle had happened right under their noses. The sun was shining softly onto the grass, beads of water from the rain were dripping off the leaves of trees in a distance. The dark grey sky -it just disappeared . The 3 were all gaping at the complete change of scenery.
What the heck did we miss?
They bolted out of the door, with Bariyaado yelling behind them.

"This is-!" Koharu was pointing upwards. A large rainbow was seen to be spread etched across the sky , the bright colors reflected in their pupils. It was raining lightly, and the feeling of being pelted by rain drops was refreshing.
The 3 of them just stared at the rainbow, eyes widened. They couldn't resist the urge to just smile.
"Gou, do you remember ..." Satoshi trailed off unconsciously.
"Of course... i remember...of course..." Their gaze on the rainbow never broke, and they just stood there, as if time stood still itself.
"It was a good memory, wasn't it?"

i don't know what happened , but this took 6 literal hours to complete. I SWEAR TO GOD I FEEL LIKE DYING :,)
