Michael stood across from the young man as he swung one of the cylindrical objects around using a chain that was attached to the lower part.
Michael: "You're keeping well I assume?"
The young man, Rage, smirked as Michael stood with his guard solidly up.
Rage: "I'm fine, Mikey. No need for you to be so defensive though."

There was an underlying malice in Rage's tone that set Michael on edge. However if he showed any sign of weakness, Rage would exploit it. After all, this was a being that could create and delete timelines as he saw fit. What made it even more unnerving was that he was one of six beings with similar abilities.
Michael: "Events are playing out differently from my premonitions. Are you overwriting the future?"
Rage: "Naturally. The original events lead to nowhere in the end. As such, I've taken it back to square one."
Michael: "I see. How have your adventures with the others been so far?"
Rage: "Meh, pretty fun. I just got done destroying a fleet of star destroyers for the hell of it."
Rage laughed as he held one of the cylinders up.
Michael: "May I ask what those are?"
Rage smirked before clicking a button. With a roar, a crimson blade of light shone out of the cylinder.
Rage: "It's a fun tool that I've been using elsewhere."
Just as Rage was about to continue, his radio went off and a familiar, highly memed voice came through.
???: "Rage, where are you right now?"
Rage: "I was meditating, what's up, Kenobi?"
Kenobi: "We may have an issue here, Grievous has a new toy and Plo Koon isn't responding to our attempts to communicate."
Rage: "Got it, I'm on my way. Tell Anakin and Asoka to rendezvous with me at Plo Koon's last known location."
With that, Rage hung up and turned back to the angel.
Rage: "Welp, duty calls."
Michael: "I wish you all the best."
Rage chuckled before summoning a katana and slashing it in a cross pattern to open a rift. He stepped through and vanished. Michael was left to contemplate a few things before going back to heaven.
Back in the human realm, things were getting interesting. Gasper was being left with Koneko to watch over him while the conference was to take place.
Issei gave the daywalker a games console to keep himself entertained while Koneko had brought sweets, mostly for herself, but she wanted to at least pretend to be willing to share.
