Arlo didn't wanna sound rude, he already felt like shit.
He still had dried tears tracking down his cheeks.
Remi: I don't wanna be invasive but john told me about the issues you guys are having
Arlo didn't even know the two had been talking.
He did, on the other hand, know that John didn't like talking about his issues.

Arlo was a coward.
Remi patiently waited for Arlo to say something, anything.
Arlo💛: I think we should break up.
Remi was stunned, regardless of how they acted she knew they loved each other.
Remi may be a little clueless sometimes but she did know that Arlo, at one point, liked Rei. The two were inseparable and it wasn't that hard to notice.
After he died Arlo was absolutely devastated. Remi thought he'd never open up or even care for another person again. She knew Arlo had to be truly head over heels for John. In the rare moments the two thought they were alone she saw how tender they would be with each other.
Remi: Why?
Arlo💛: I don't think we're working out.
I'm not good enough for him.
Remi: why don't you think youre working out??
Arlo💛: I suppose because we've been fighting a lot recently.
Remi: Why not talk it through?
Arlo💛: Every time we try to talk we end up yelling at each other.
Remi thought for a second, she wasn't sure what to say.
Oh, wait-!
Remi: I could be a middle man for you guys??
Remi: Send your messages through me and I'll make sure there's no fighting!!
Arlo💛: I wouldn't want to bother you too much or have you in our business so often.
"Was that too rude?" Arlo wasn't sure.
"That makes sense" Remi thought, as she began to ponder for another solution.
For a couple seconds the chat went silent.
"Oh!"
Remi: Why not write notes to each other??
Arlo💛: Write notes?
Remi: Yeah!!
Arlo💛: Wouldn't we just end up fighting again?
