The Student's Romance (Lawlu)

Twenty Seven

Kidd sat in his room throwing darts at his wall. Thinking about Law used to put him in a good mood now it just made him angry. He didn't understand why he like that kid. 
"Kidd, keep doing that and you won't have a wall left", laughed Killer, who was sitting on his floor reading the latest manga.
"Shut up Killer, I'm thinking how to get my man back",
"Have you ever thought about letting Law be happy with his choice", Killer stated before getting up and heading to the door.
"Yes, I have but I hate that it's not with me", bit Kidd,

Kidd decided he was going to go for a walk.
Heading to the local kitchen service for an easy cheap meal he spotted Sanji walking out laughing, Hiding behind a car he watched the interaction.

Sanji - "That would be great and don't forget the meat, the groom with have a meltdown if there isn't any meat", 

Kitchen staff - "No worries Sanji will have everything sorted by the wedding, How long have we got", 

Sanji - "Five days, but the menu I did should be easy to sort in that time", he smiled and hopped into Zoro's car.

Kidd watched as the duo left, 'Wedding! What wedding would he be sorting out' he thought to himself, heading to the kitchen he smiled at the waitress, "The same again please", with a nod she turned to get his order ready. Kidd sat in his normal spot looking out the window, still thinking about what he overheard, he had to know more about it.
"Here you go special rice", she smile, she went to leave but Kid caught her hand, he looked at her for a moment before asking her about the wedding he overheard, she smiled with delight and told him all about the two grooms and how they were going to cater for them. 
Kidd looked positively pissed off, he wolfed down his meal before calling Law.

Kidd - Law we need to talk

Law - What about I'm busy with something at the moment

Kidd - Yes the wedding I know that's what I want to talk to you about 

Law - Oh, meet me at the cat cafe on the corner of yumisuke street

Law hung up the phone and smiled weakly at Luffy who was clearly too distracted looking at the invites Nami had made, she had made them look super rustic, with brown recycled papers and gold writing, she even decorated them with white lace and flowers.
"They're perfect Nami, I love them, What do you think Law", he asked beaming at him, Law smiled and agreed before telling Luffy he had to go meet someone, Luffy nodded and got back to helping Nami sort out the invitations. Law decided he would take the bike to meet Kidd, it was quicker and easier than his car.
Pulling up he saw Kidd, sitting in the window with a cup of coffee and a cat rubbing her tail all over his face. Law couldn't help but smile. 

Kidd waved Law over when he walked in through the door. Biting his lip he walked to the counter and ordered a large black coffee and some cake. He headed over to Kidd and sat in front of him, moving a rather large tabby cat in the process. The silence between them was thick, the waitress place Laws coffee and cake on the table before backing away slowly. 
"Why did you call me?", Law asked quicking an eyebrow at Kidd,
"Why didn't you tell me you were getting married to that kid within a week", sneered Kidd into his coffee. Another break of silence washed over them before Law spoke up.

"It was none of your business Kidd", 
"Cut the crap. You knew I wanted to be with you and you didn't think to tell me that bit of information", Kidd shouted as he slammed his hands on the table glaring down at Law, who calmly sat drinking his coffee.
"Kidd. Sit down.", ordered Law, he watched Kidd calmly sit himself down before continuing the conversation, "I didn't tell you because it had nothing to do with us, you knew i was in a relationship. So why now is it a surprised that i'm getting married in 5 days might i add", he set his coffee cup down before crossing his arms and legs.

Kidd bit back the tears that threatened to show Law how hurt he was. 
"I just wanted you back Law, to be honest, I thought I had more time to change your mind", 
"Yes, you said that but I had already told you that it wouldn't have worked. So the only way for me to accept you back in my life Kidd is to do it on my own time", Law spoke softly as he finished his cake and coffee. He gave Law a smile before he watch Law get up and walk out.  

'I will not let this wedding happen', Kidd thought.
