The Student's Romance (Lawlu)

Thirty

Luffy drove like crazy but trying not to draw attention to himself, surprised at his ability to calmly control the car, he hit the main city streets. Trying to read the signs thought tear filled eyes he became more and more frustrated. He just wanted to get to Law and the others. He just wanted to feel safe again.

RING< RING< RING

"Shit my phone", shouted Kid, Luffy looked down at who was calling, Killer? He let it ring off before grabbing it, he frantically typed in Zoro's number,
"Zoro!?", he shouted,
"Luff? How did you? Never mind that where are you?", he asked, Luffy told him where he was and Zoro told him to pull over and wait as they knew where he was, and that they were coming for him. Luffy pulled into a supermarket car park and cry happy tears of relief.  Kidd tried to talk Luffy into letting them go and that it was a mistake they didn't wanna hurt Luffy they just wanted to the wedding to stop. But Luffy just kept looking forward waiting for help to get there.

The sound of sirens and cars pulled up behind them and Law ran to the front of the car. Throwing the door open he pulled Luffy out and embraced him, so tightly that Luffy could of popped. 
"Luffy! How did you", 
"Law, oh Law", Luffy wailed into in lovers arms as he fell to the floor. He explain how Kidd and Bartolomeo had taken him from the café and how he managed to fight them off and make his way he. He also told him how Kidd tried to tell him it was a mistake and that he should let him go. But Luffy was to scared to even move at that point. The police took Kidd and Bartolomeo in for kidnapping and endangering a life. 
"Zoro thank goodness you picked up for phone", smiled Luffy through his many tears, grabbing on to his waisted for dear life. 
"Me to Luff, But why did you call me and not Law", he asked, Luffy looked a little sheepish before saying he didn't remember Law's number in that moment.
Law laughed to himself before grabbing Luffy again and swearing never to let him go.

At the Café 

"Manager", Luffy said running into the the woman's arms. He rubbed his face all over he chest as she laughed and patted his head, glad he was home safe and sound.
"Sorry to interrupt, but we just need to ask a few questions", said one officer, Luffy nodded and took them to an open booth where he talked about what happened. 
"No worries Mister Monkey, we will follow this up. One of them wants to talk but we wanted to get you statement first", said the other officer, Luffy smiled before hugging himself.
Law walked over to Luffy and wrapped his arms around him like there was nothing else that mattered. He didn't care about the wedding he didn't care about their friends, all he wanted was Luffy and to keep himself.

"Not to interrupt your moment. But I feel ever so strongly to getting you guys hitched", said Penguin, walking over to them, "Who agrees?", he asked the room. With a unison "yes!", the group started getting ready for the wedding. 
Robin checked the venue was ready, as Nami rang around to all the contact to see if who was coming, Sanji and Zoro when to the venue to start getting the food prep ready for the staff on the day. Shachi and Penguin ran to the flower shop and collect the flowers and other nice decorations for the dining hall and party hall.

*** Day of the wedding ***

Law paced up and down looking at the two suits he had hanging up. 
"Law stop pacing your shoes will end up with holes in them", Shachi laughed, 
"I know I'm just worrying about Luffy", he paced quicker, meanwhile Luffy and the girls were laughing and drinking, as if the days before never happened.
"Luf, it's time", Zoro chimed with a smiled his face, 
They all planned that after the wedding the two grooms would change into white suits for the party and the pictures. While the guest got settled in for the meal.

Usopp walked chopper down the carpet throwing red and yellow petals, Law smiled at the little dog wagging his tail feeling super proud of himself. All the guest 'aah' when Law bend down and petted Chopper taking the rings on the pillow. Handing Penguin and Zoro the rings he played with his fingers waiting for that music to play over the specker.

(Wedding music)

Luffy walked out of one side of the carpet and Sanji walked out the otherside. Holding his arm out he smiled at Luffy, honored he got to walked the young man down the aisle. Law's eyes open wide, the vision in front of him, his partner, his husband was truly handsome, beautiful even. 
A tear travelled down his face as Luffy got closure,
"Who gives Luffy to be married to Law?", asked the priest,
"I do", said Sanji puffing out his chest with pride, he tapped Luffy's hand before guiding him towards Law, "Thank you", mouthed Luffy to sanji as he stood back to watch his dear friends get married.
