The Student's Romance (Lawlu)

Twenty Nine

*** Two days until the wedding ***

Kidd and Bartolomeo met up outside the coffee shop where they watched Luffy working. Both men crouched down to see him under the large coffee mug sticker, they acted as if they were in a spy movie, 
"Are we really going to do this Kidd?", Bartolomeo asked, unsure if their plan was a little far fetched even for them.
"Yes we are, you can't chicken out on me now! Go get the van"',  Hissed Kidd quietly and he quickly wrote on a bit of paper. Bartolomeo did as he was told and headed to get the van, all he wanted to do was be with Luffy, he didn't really care what Kidd wanted, so blindly he went along with he sick plan. Pulling up beside him, Bartolomeo waved out the window, Kidd smirked as he taped a note to the back of the café door and waited for Luffy to come out with the trash

After a good ten minutes Luffy popped out to the bins unaware of what was being planned for him. Clicking the door open he throw the trash into the large dumpster. And with one quick movement Kidd pushed him into the back of the van and locked it tight.
"Go Bartolomeo GO!", he shouted before hopping into the van himself. 
Luffy looked around to see if there was anyway of getting out but with no luck. The door handle on the inside was knocked off so he couldn't escape.
"What the fuck! Let me out", he shouted banging on the van cage, trying to see who had pushed him, "Why are you doing this? Let me go!", he demanded more and more.

A good 30 minutes went by and Luffy's throat was starting to hurt form all the shouting, his hands warm and red raw form banging on the mental cage trying to get his kidnappers to talk to him. but with no luck. Bartolomeo pulled up to an old war bunker, where they were going to keep Luffy for a little while, well until after the wedding of course.
"Bart, get out of the van I'm going to gas him to sleep so he doesn't fight us", Luffy heard form outside the van.

'Bartolomeo, why. I knew you were evil but this is a new low even for you', thought Luffy to himself. Taking off his apron he covered his mouth enough that the smoke couldn't affect him.
'If I just lay down here, they think I'm a sleep', he thought, once the smoke had clear Bartolomeo and Kidd open the van doors to see a sleeping Luffy on the floor.
"Haha see it worked, see Bartolomeo Your Darling Luffy is just like anyone else", Kidd laughed before approach the still awake Luffy, "come over here and help me lift him up", he ordered

Bartolomeo sighed heavily, "I didn't want this you know Kidd, I don't know why I agreed to help you, yeah I want Luffy but I didn't wanna scared of hurt him", 
"Oh shut up will you, were not hurting him. Anyways when did you decide to get a heart. And plus its only for two days and you can nurse him back to health, by then he would have fallen head over heels for you", Kidd explained before reaching for one of Luffy's legs,
Up jumped Luffy with a kick to his face, he ran for the van door but Bartolomeo was standing in the way. With a bit of quick thinking Luffy, dive under his legs and kicked the van doors shut locking them behind him.
"Please tell me you have the keys Bartolomeo", Kidd growled, hitting himself in the forehead thinking about how stupid they had been to play right into Luffy's plan.
"Erm, nope I don't I left then in the van", Bartolomeo grimaced as they van started up.

Luffy wasn't sure where he was of how he was going to get back to the café.
Meanwhile at the café the manager had found the note saying that Luffy had been take and will be returned un harmed if two of the three demands where made. 
1. The wedding would be called off
2. A Lump some of 50,000 dropped off to the location below
And
3. Luffy or Law stop loving one an other. 
Frantically she called Law and told him what had happened and what she had found.
"I'm sorry Law I don't know what to", she cried down the phone,
"Don't freak out, how long has he been missing for", he asked calmly trying not to up set the already heart broken manager.
"About 15 minutes", 

'Okay so his been gone for 15 minutes which means in total he would have been gone 30 minutes by the time I get to the café', he thought to himself. 
Once Law had reach the coffee house he ran thought the doors and up the stairs. 
"Right, everyone here?", he asked the room, Sanji and Zoro were silent as Robin and Nami cried, Penguin and Shachi paced the room and Law, well he did what he does best plan.
"SO its been a good 30 minutes since they took Luffy, and knowing him they would have to stop fairly close by so he can eat", he said, drawing a circle on the map, "This is a 30 mile radius, so they couldn't have gone out of this ring", he hoped explaining himself.

"And what if they have", Zoro spoke as the room filled with silence.
