The Student's Romance (Lawlu)

"Marriage is a gift from God, given to us so that we might experience the joys of unconditional love with a lifelong partner. God designed marriage to be an intimate relationship between a man and a woman.", spoke the priest, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." he finished off.

Law held Luffy's hands stroking them softly he looked into his eye with such love and happiness, today was they day that they would spend the rest of their lives together. 
"I believe the grooms have wrote their own vows", the priest announced,

Law cleared his throat as he looked at Luffy,
"I love you. You are my best friend. Today I give myself to you in marriage. I promise to encourage and inspire you, to laugh with you, and to comfort you in times of sorrow and struggle. I promise to love you in good times and in bad, when life seems easy and when it seems hard, when our love is simple, and when it is an effort. And I promise to cherish you and to always hold you in the highest regard. These things I give to you today, and all the days of our life."

Luffy cried with happiness at him, all he wanted to do was kiss him and run to the hotel, but he now would have to say his vows to the man of his dream the man he would forever be united with,
"I, pledge my undying love to you, Bride/Groom, as I invite you to share my life. I promise to be kind, unselfish, respectful, and trustworthy so that together, our dreams of a beautiful future can come true. I promise to love you, to be your best friend, to respect and support you, to be patient with you, to work together with you to achieve our goals, to accept you unconditionally, and to share life with you throughout the years."

The priest held up his arms and smiled, "With that I now since you have consented together in holy matrimony, and have pledged yourselves to each other by your solemn vows and by the giving of rings, and have declared your commitment of love before God and these witnesses, I now pronounce you husband and husband in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Those whom God hath joined together, let no man separate. You may kiss you Husband", 

The room went up in cheer and Luffy and Law kissed, flowers and rice were thrown at them as they ran back to the changing rooms. Nami and Shachi thanked people for coming as they showed them to were the meal and dancing would be.
After a quick change law and Luffy ran back down to the river front for the photos, Franky cried as he took many pictures of the duo.

All the guest gasped with delight as they walked in to the venues, Max and robin had really out done themselves, Shachi and Penguin loved all the little touches that they could offer the room. Sanji wheeled the cake out and put it on the table before placing edible flowers to really make it pop. Zoro help set up the band in the centre of the back wall before pulling all the ballon up in the net. 

A round of cheer filled the room as Law and Luffy walked into the room and to the head table set out for the two of them. A round of soup quickly entered the hall, the sound of silence as everyone enjoyed the starter, Sanji felt pride in the kitchen staff following his instruction to a tee. Just before the main course Law stood up.

"I just want to take the time to thank our very dear friends for making all this possible, and i want to thank you Luffy", he said picking him up so he was now standing and looking at him, "You are the light of my life, and you have agree to take this journey with man to out forever so, my darling husband thank you", Luffy pinked at his kind words before kissing him softly.
"Mains please", Luffy crooked embarrassed at Luffy's kind words", 

Sanji main sure there was a meat option for his meat loving friends, a beautiful mouth watering chicken roasted in garlic and rosemary served with seasonal vegetables and new potatoes. For the vegetarians he make sure they had some just a beautiful,  a double bake goats cheese and onion tart with honey vegetables. There was a creme brulee for those who didn't want cake for their afters. 

Everyone drank and ate until they either hit the floor form all the happiness or they left, 
Law and Luffy however headed to the private  suit,
