Taeyong gets into the elevator and pushed the right button for Jaehyun's office. He waited until it opened a few minutes. He walked his way towards the man's secretary who he had to say a few words before he was directed into Jaehyun's office.

By the time he was asked to come in, he started to get nervous. It shouldn't be too bad anyway. It's just him, like any other boss he had.

As he comes in, he saw Jaehyun ending a phone call which made Taeyong to be a bit guilt for having his call to be postponed. The man puts his phone in a drawer before he looked up to see the boy standing infront of his desk a few meters away. He just met him a few minutes ago and now he's here, for what?

"Good day, Mr. Jung. Sorry for the sudden interruption," the boy said.

The man nodded, "What brings you here? The report's done already?"

"That's what I'm here for, Mr. Jung. I don't think my subordinate will be able to finish it within the day. I would be asking if you could give us until tomorrow morning."

"But the meeting will be tomorrow, Mr. Lee."

Taeyong nodded, "Yes, I know but it'll take time to have a better outcome."

"How sure are you that you won't make me fire someone in your team on the spot because of a simple report that I have requested last week?"

The boy cleared his throat, "I-I am certain that we'll be able to perform within your standard if you'll give us time. You will have to trust us, Mr. Jung."

Jaehyun stared at him, thinking, but half of him was just observing Taeyong. Seemingly interested in the boy. Taeyong just stood there as he waits for the CEO's answer. It was awkwardly quiet and he doesn't like it. He feels so intimidated just being stared at.

"Okay."

Taeyong's eyes widened, "O-Okay?"

"Yes. I'll give you time. At nine, I want it here on my desk."

The boy immediately nodded and smiled, "I will have it early tomorrow, Mr. Jung! Thank you very much!"

The man nodded before he goes back on signing some documents. It was Taeyong's cue on leaving. He turned and quietly walked towards the doors, his hand already twisting the knob but he stopped upon his name being called.

"Mr. Lee."

Taeyong turned to look back at Jaehyun, "Yes, Mr. Jung?"

"Did your team...have gone into team buildings yet?" the man asked, his full attention on the boy.

The boy hummed, "It has been a few years back since we last did it, Mr. Jung."

"So did the other departments?"

"As far as I can remember, they recently did."

Jaehyun slowly nodded, "Okay, thank you. You are dismissed," he said in English.

Taeyong left the room and did admit that he got taken aback from hearing him speaking in a foreign language. But pushing that aside, he really thought he'll get scolded and might tell them that they're just lazing around. It was a surprise to hear him agreeing to him at something.

Atleast they can work on it with a little freedom.
