Taeyong attended work the next day. He has to, at this point. It felt different today. He was happier. Yesterday was a very chill day since Jaehyun just brought him to a mall so they could have some time together. It felt like they didn't have a misunderstanding before. They were happy and contented.
As soon as he was ready, he grabbed his bag and went towards his door. He opened it and was surprised to see a box with a bouquet of flowers. Taeyong looked around but didn't see anyone nearby. He tried to hide his wide smile as he grabbed the box and saw a letter attached.
'i hope roses are still your favorite flowers' -J
Taeyong chuckled. He went back inside to place them inside. He quickly placed them in a vase he bought a few months ago and puts water. Then he heard his phone ringing. He walked out of his apartment before he accepted it.
"Good morning," Taeyong greeted.
"Good morning, lovely."
The boy chuckled, "Lovely?"
"Yeah, just like those flowers I sent."
"They are very lovely. Thank you for those."
"Those won't be the last. By the way, my driver's there to pick you up."
"Eh?! But I already called for a taxi."
"Tell them your boyfriend already called someone to pick you up then."
"Jaehyun!"
"I'll have my driver handle that, don't worry about it. See you later?"
The boy smiled, "Yeah, see you."
Taeyong comes down and did see the recognizable car of his lover parked infront, and a man wearing a suit waiting for him. He smiled at him and bowed politely, which he did the same.
"Good morning, Mr. Lee. Are we ready to go?" he asked, opening the backseat door.
The boy nodded and thanked him before he went in and as soon as the driver comes back to his seat, they left the place right away. The driver seemed to be very friendly but professional. They talked a bit while they were on the road. It took them a few minutes before they arrived at the building.
"Mr. Jung will be driving you home, Mr. Lee. But here's my calling card, if you ever need anything for me to get or a drive to somewhere."
Taeyong grabbed the piece of paper and nodded, "Thank you very much. I'll see you tomorrow."
The boy stepped out and happily skipped his way into his work. He greeted the receptionist. She noticed how happy Taeyong was so she commented on it and the boy jokingly answered back at her. He was such in a good mood, it was fresh seeing him like that. He never smiled like that and never had a positive energy before.
Taeyong was just about to go but he noticed a ruckus behind him. Multiple employees started to make some commotion when someone arrived. Media people were there interviewing someone but the boy couldn't see who they are.
It took him a few seconds before their face was unblocked.
Taeyong started to have cold sweats.
A beautifully aged woman entered the building. Wearing a black dress and high heels, it felt like he was in the 'Devil Wears Prada' movie. She was as intimidated as she originally was. When he saw her going towards him, Taeyong just smiled at her.
