Taeyong stayed in his office all day, asking Jungwoo to just knock first if someone ever wants to see or talk to him. He didn't have the energy to go out. Although he was working so he could forget the thing that happened a while ago, he still gets to stare out of nowhere and feel his heart breaking every time. Jaehyun's words kept repeating like a broken record.

He thought he shouldn't have done anything. It's his fault for hurting himself. He suddenly wished that they never met so things wouldn't come this. The boy felt so lost.

He couldn't even pick up Doyoung's calls. He could only text him, meetings as an excuse. He'll just cry if he talks to his boyfriend, and to anyone, and he doesn't want him to get worried just because his boss was treating him badly--like they had a thing in the past.

They left each other in good terms. Why did he change then?

Stopping his thoughts, Taeyong jolted at hearing knocks against his door. It opened for Jungwoo coming in with a smile on his face, greeting the supervisor.

"Shift's done. Mr. Kim is already here to pick you up," the boy said.

Taeyong looked at his wristwatch, "Okay. Thank you, Jungwoo. See you tomorrow."

"Uhm, can I...Were you alright a while ago?"

The boy smiled, "Yes, of course. Just an allergy, Woo. No need to be worried--Did you tell Doyoung?"

Jungwoo acted like his zipped his mouth and shook his head, "Nope."

"Good. Thanks, Woo."

The boy then proceeds to get out of the room. Taeyong grabbed his belongings and went out of his office. He should've been at home for a while now, just call in sick as an excuse for him to cry and sulk, but he didn't want to. He's better being in the office and just finishing all the work to occupy his mind.

Of course, that didn't work.

He walked towards the elevator, pressing the button while he was on his phone. Doyoung was calling again, and this time, Taeyong answered. He cleared his throat and smiled.

"Hey, I'm just about to get into the elevator. Were you waiting for too long?" the boy asked.

"No, I'm fine. Don't worry about it. I'm waiting for you just outside the door so you'll be able to see me when you get off the lift."

Taeyong smiled and nodded, "I'll be there--"

Then the doors opened, revealing a clear sight of Jaehyun inside. The man standing in the middle with his hands inside his pockets and has his slingbag hanging on his shoulder. Taeyong doesn't know what to do but the thought of Doyoung waiting for too long made him to just throw everything aside and walked into the lift.

"G-Good evening, Mr. Jung."

Jaehyun nodded, didn't faze and just moved a little away from the boy. Taeyong stood by the doors, far away from the man. The way his heart pounds was deafening, it wasn't very pleasant. His butterflies alive but anxiety was rising. His hand clutched onto his bag's handles and clearing his throat.

Act the way you should be acting, Mr. Lee.

Never call me by my name...

Words repeated in his mind but swallowed the courage of tearing up. He shook his head and mentally slapped himself.
