That morning, Taeyong woke up with a big smile. He happily got up from his bed and went out of his room. He figured he could greet Jaehyun so he went towards the man's bedroom door, he knocked on it before he opened it. It was already unlocked so it surprised him. He looked around inside and saw that the bed was already clean.

He's already up?

He suddenly heard someone knocking on the front door. Taeyong combed his hair, trying to fix it and wiping his face before he opened the door to be greeted by Jungwoo.

"Ah, good morning, hyung! It's breakfast time."

The boy nodded, smiling, "Alright. I'll just change then I'll catch up."

"Okay!"

"Wait. Did you see...Jaehyun somewhere?"

The other nodded, "Yeah, he's the one cooking breakfast! It's new to see him being...domestic."

Taeyong's eyebrows raised then slowly nodded, "Oh...Okay. I'll catch up."

He immediately went into the bedroom and changed his clothing. He fixed his hair and face better, trying to lessen the puffiness around his eyes, before he went out of the cabin to meet all the others. Taeyong greeted them and was about to go towards Jaehyun but the man already finished and plated the food on the table.

The man looked back at the boy, smiling warmly at him, which made the boy to smile back. Taeyong sat down and was ready to eat breakfast with everyone. Jaehyun finally sat down beside him before they digged into the freshly cooked food infront of them.

They went to get their share and started eating with a little conversing. Taeyong took a few seconds before he spoke.

"I didn't know you could cook," he said, obviously telling Jaehyun.

Jaehyun shrugged, "It was a must. I don't get to tell someone to cook for me, do this and that, everyday back in the States. Especially when you weren't around anymore."

"Aw, you miss my cooking?" Taeyong asked, smiling.

The man looked back at him, "As much as I want to deny it, of course, I miss your cooking."

"When we get back, I'll bring you food if you want."

"Then let your boyfriend know that you're cooking for another man?"

Taeyong chuckled, "You were a family to me, a step-brother, and he knows it. I guess he wouldn't mind. Doyoung doesn't get jealous often."

"Because he doesn't get any reasons to. Does he know...about us? Atleast the past."

The boy slowly shook his head, "I didn't get the chance to and I don't think I can tell him," he whispered, not trying to get attention from the others.

Jaehyun nodded, "I guess it's better that way."

Taeyong didn't reply. A thought in his mind started to roam around. It was making him feel guilty. He doesn't blame Jaehyun for being upset when he has a boyfriend, accused of having several too. They made a promise then it looked like he invalidated it when he didn't. It shouldn't be like that.

"Jae, about...about us--"

"Forget about it."

The boy looked at him, "No, no. I don't want you to feel like I didn't want you--"
