The next few days, Jaehyun called for a meeting. It'll be over two weeks before the company's annual party so he needs to make things clear and ready. Although, he still needs to work on the company's records and future plans. He was planning on have a community service, like in a children's foundation, as a tradition of them every year. Even back in the States, he does special charity work every holidays.

This would be his first charity event in Korea so he'll make sure it'll be as perfect as the upcoming party.

Jaehyun made his way towards the conference room where he expects everyone to be. He was nervous, to say the least, just the thought of seeing Taeyong. He might just lose himself if he ever looked at the boy. He wasn't ready to embarrass himself infront of his subordinates.

He pushed the glass frosted door and was welcomed by the people inside. Jaehyun nodded and smiled briefly at them. He stood infront of the long table, right where he always is. He was given a folder and was immediately given an explanation from one of his board members. He just gave the document little to no attention before he looked up to see the people inside the meeting.

Then he noticed Taeyong didn't attend.

Jaehyun furrowed his eyebrows.

"Excuse me. Where is Mr. Lee?" the man asked, disturbing the board members from talking further.

Someone raised their hand which Jaehyun saw, "Mr. Lee wasn't able to attend work today, Mr. Jung. He excused himself for the day."

Jaehyun hummed, not knowing that the guy was greatly intimidated by him, "And no one told me about this? No one cared to report it to me?"

There was silence. The man looked each person before his eyes landed on his secretary, who was taken aback by his glare.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Jung, but no managers were able to pass the file yet," the secretary said.

Jaehyun took for a while before he nodded, "What's your name?" he asked the guy.

"Kim Jungwoo. I'll be substituting Mr. Lee for today, Mr. Jung," Jungwoo uttered softly.

"Make sure to let him catch up when he comes back, Mr. Kim."

"Will do."

After he heard about Taeyong, Jaehyun could say he was bothered and worried since he doesn't know the reason for the sudden leave. He was almost eager to message or call him, or even go to the boy's apartment, but he didn't want to spoil anything. He must be resting or has other things to do.

What could he be doing?

It's none of his business, honestly. He should stop thinking that he should know everything about Taeyong.

Cutting his attention out, he heard someone knocking on his door. Jaehyun looked up and saw his secretary coming in.

"Uhm, Mr. Jung, your driver's already here," he said.

The man looked at the clock and it was already seven in the evening. He still has a dinner with Mark and Donghyuck by eight for some wedding planning. He doesn't know he's involved but he's happy he could do something for his friend. He stood from his chair and grabbed his bag under his desk, as well as his coat.

"You should go home as well. Thank you for your cooperation today."

The secretary bowed before he left the CEO. Jaehyun went out of his office, locking it, and went into the lift while he wore his long coat. He should just wear something normal tonight, and by normal, he meant very casual.
