At dawn, sun rising slowly just behind the immense sea of trees, you find yourself breathing the purest of airs, eyes closed. A soft breeze passes by, gently caressing your features, engulfing you in a morning hug.
You smile, finally opening your eyes, finding yourself slightly less tired than before. After such eventful mission, you couldn't even bother to blame yourself. Your limbs were sore, eyes barely open, and the only certainty that you were awake was, perhaps, the rising sun that bathed your skin. With a sigh, you forced yourself to walk away, determined to reach the headquarters as soon as possible.

"Perhaps...seeing Kocho-san would be a good idea." you mumbled to yourself, staring up at the now soft blue sky.

The long walk back was painfully tiring, your already exhausted body could not take a single step further, and even a Hashira, a slayer of such high position, would find it tiring to walk back for so long, and after such mission, even.
Your eyes battled to stay open, but a sudden thought of a certain someone had made you incredibly awake very quickly. A tired smile made its way to your lips.
After a while, trees stopped surrounding you, and instead, the sight of a remote train station made your eyes sparkle happily. Around four people waited for the next train to pass by, eagerly holding tickets as if praying for the vehicle to come faster. The thought made you chuckle mentally, as you hid your nichirin blade, not wanting to scare anyone.

In inside pocket of your white haori, one that you sewed yourself, was the ticket you had previously bought, although a bit creased. Just as you looked up, the train began appearing from the horizon, gradually getting closer. Your steps fastened, the anxiety taking over your body, fear of maybe not reaching in time - although it was very unlikely.
Your almost running came to a stop as soon as you reached the wooden platform, people slightly looking at you with curiosity. 'It must be odd to see someone with such weird clothes', you thought with a smile, reminiscing the various times people from rural areas eyed you strangely for your 'choice' of clothes, unbeknownst of the organization you were part of - the Demon Slayer Corps.

You entered the train, looking for a place to seat and relax for the next two hours.
Finding yourself an empty seat by the window, you finally allowed your body its deserved rest. Your eyes stood open for some time, watching the train move towards the place you were longing for. After a while, you allowed yourself to rest, and your mind wondered.
Yes, the rural people. You were once like them. Long ago, before your family had been slaughtered by a demon. Dangerous, disgusting creatures, killing to live. You didn't like them one bit, and fell no sympathy when killing them. It was not like they showed any when killing humans, right?
After being saved by a Slayer, you begged to be trained and become one. You wanted to avenge your family, and help other the best you could. Despite the hardships, your determination took you further than expected, and the Corps welcomed you warmly.
Ever since then, you had been a part of them, like a big family, all united for one single purpose - kill demons, and end Muzan Kibutsuji.

Your body slightly trembled as the train came to a stop. People moved out of the vehicle in a hurry, making a big confusion around the doors. Talking and walking made you wake from your peaceful sleep. As you got up, your body felt ten times worse than it previously was. It was the magic of relaxing your muscles after using all of their strength to fight. The adrenaline died off, allowing the pain and soreness to take over your frame.
After waiting for a bit, you were finally able to move out of the train. Accidentally, a woman with her child pushed you, making you collapse on the ground. With a gasp, the lady stared down at you.
