Rants and Confusion

Jungkook's POV

"Tae, wait!" I ran after him but was stopped by Jimin.

"I don't mean to do this but you should give him time to cool down"

I sighed, "You're right. Let's just chill here at the moment"

Jimin is right. I should give Tae some alone time. I know why he is acting that way. I know he's afraid of losing me to Jimin. He's jealous. How can he not.. He is my.. Boyfriend.

Or maybe not. He never mentioned that to me before. Sometimes I'm confused. What are we? Are we exclusive? Or is this just an open relationship?

I let out another sigh and Jimin seemed to notice I was bothered.

"Hey, you wanna tell me what's on your mind? You seem so distracted"

"If I share it to you, don't tell anyone?"

Jimin nodded, giving his undivided attention to me.

"It's about Taehyung. He thinks you're trying to steal me away from him. Tae and me.. We aren't just friends you know"

"Maybe I am"

My eyes widened.

He chuckled and said, "Im just kidding, you two dating or something?"

"That's the thing I'm confused about. He never really asked me to be his. He never mentioned we were a couple but at that point of time it didn't bother me too much cause all I want is to be with him"

I continued ranting to Jimin who attentively listened. Without realizing, an hour.. Wait no. Two hours flew by.

"I should probably head back. I'm sure he has cooled down by now"

I thanked Jimin for being such a great listener but before leaving, he gave me his cell phone number, telling me if I ever needed a listening ear, ring him up or hit him a text.

"Jungkook, feel better soon alright? If you ever need a friend, you know how to reach me"

"Yeah thanks again man"

He hugged me before leaving, it wasn't just a short hug. He tightened the hug but I quickly let go.

"Jimin, can you honestly answer this question?"

"Hmm yeah sure"

"Do you actually have feelings for me?"

He looked down before having the courage to speak.

"If I say yes to that, what you gonna do about it? Would you leave Taehyung for me?"

"Just give me a straight answer. Yes or no?" Sounding extra firm this time.

He look straight into my eyes and said,
"Yes. I do have feelings for you, Jeon Jungkook"

I was dumbfounded. Whatever Tae said was true. Guilt start to fill my heart. Speechless. I walked off. Leaving Jimin behind. Pretending i didn't hear anything he just said.

Back at the dorm, Taehyung was sleeping and I couldn't help but smile. He is gorgeous even though he's asleep. I went up to him, swipe away the hair on his forehead and plant a kiss on it.

He groaned and open one of his eyes,
"Oh.. You're back" he turned away, not facing me.

"Sorry I didn't mean to wake you up"

"So how was your 'date'?" His tone full of sarcasm.

"Tae.. Let's talk"

"No. Leave me alone"

I could see disappointment painted all over his face. As if there's a "Go away" warning sign plastered, not only on his face but all over. From head to toe. Yes, that's how upset he is.

You might wonder why is he like this.. I shouldn't have agreed when Jimin wanted to join us. I purposely did so when I know shouldn't.

Taehyung sees Jimin as a nightmare, someone who wanted to steal me away from him. How stupid am I? Gosh Jungkook, what have you done..

Jimin's POV

So Taehyung left. Here's my opportunity, I thought to myself.

Jungkook told me everything from A-Z. From the beginning to where they are now. I gave him my undivided attention. I want him to notice that I'm here. I will always be here. No matter what.

I know it's too early to say that since we only got to know each other yesterday as classmates but like I said, I will make him mine no matter what it takes.

Jungkook's face was filled with so many different expressions. From happy to sad to confused. Jumping from one story to another. I couldn't help but stare at his small, slightly parted lips as he rant.

I can see that Taehyung is a nice guy. If I'm being very honest, he's the perfect guy for Jungkook.

Not only is he blessed with good looks but is loving funny, silly, understanding as well. Nevertheless, that's not stopping me.

If Taehyung is perfect, I'm going to be over the top. Not too exaggerating, of course.

All I can say is, if plan A doesn't work. Time to prepare for plan B.
