to say he was a bit nervous was an understatement. He'd really only performed in front of crowds when he was younger, yet he was about to perform in front of people his own age, so yeah. that was nerve wracking as hell.
he fiddled with his outfit, wondering if he should change it. his mid-section was revealed, and he wasn't really sure of the feedback he'd receive.

"you dork. you better do our song justice. and kai's. but mainly ours." chanyeol's voice stirred san out of his thoughts, his cheeks tinging a soft pink.
"kai-hyung, you weren't supposed to tell! it was supposed to be a surprise! so, hyungs will act surprised, right? okay!"
he quickly scurried away, but not before giving kai a, what he thought was a scary, cute glare, causing them all to laugh, baekhyun speaking up. "sannie-ah is so adorable!"
as he was was waiting patiently for his name to be called, he lifted his head to watch hyunjin, smiling softly.

soon somebody walked up behind san, hugging him tightly. "you'll do go good sannie-ah."
"thanks yeji...i just hope i don't make a fool of myself or forget the moves to anything." san was naturally confident in his skills, but again, this was in front t of everybody he'd been around for the last three years of school plus new faces.
"please. i've seen you dance san. you'll do amazing. plus, wooyoung is in the front~". she didn't miss the way san's mood perked up, his cheeks flushing a soft pink. hah. whipped.
"next up, performing a few covers, is choi san!"
the applause and whistles he got only boosted his confidence, his dimples showing as he smiled, walking onto the stage with a small wave towards the audience. he saw his friends occupying the first couple of rows, the loudest of them all.
"hello... i'm choi san, i'm gonna be dancing. i hope you guys enjoy it."

his first dance, advice, went smoothly. by the time he had finished, people were already waiting for the second dance to start. he blushed softly as he scurried to the curtains real quick, pulling kai out with him. "i hope you guys don't mind that i have a guest dancing with me for the next two songs!"
that only caused the students to scream louder, all pretty familiar with who kai was.
