the next morning was bland. everyone had decided to fall asleep at two am, giving themselves only four hours of sleep before they were all awoken by a shrill, incessant ringing going throughout the otherwise silent house. somebody croaked out a small "sorry" as he attempted to silence the damned thing, although everyone was already in the process of awakening.

tired feet shuffled across the floor, meekly muttering a 'good morning' to somebody as they passed them by, all moving on autopilot. thank god for packing ahead of time. the house was soon filled with the sound of water slapping against the ceramic floor of the shower, the sink running, shuffling of clothing, and somebody attempting to find the damn cat that usually slept in the backyard to give her her food.

as everyone got ready, one person remained snuggled up in his covers with his plush, having already showered and changed two hours prior, making the room cold to make sure he wouldn't sweat, his pink hair peeking out from underneath the covers.

he soon got annoyed by the small sounds he could hear though, cursing everyone for having awoken him as he had tried to catch up on some sleep that he was desperately missing. "you whores don't know how to do anything quietly..." he grumbled to himself before flip-flopping on the bed, staring up at the ceiling, letting out an exasperated sigh. welp. time to get up...

he slowly made his way downstairs towards the kitchen, everyone's suitcases by the door, along with their carry-on bags. san had made sure to pack his miniature shiber, or shiber junior as wooyoung liked to call him. as he watched his hyung's walk around lethargically, he let his feet swing from the counter he currently sat on, sipping quietly on the tea hwa had so graciously made him.

as they all bid a good morning to the youngest, he couldn't help but let his mind stray back to last night.

wooyoung had stared at his phone for most of the time, not even sparing san a glance as they sat at the table with their drinks. the only time he actually looked up was when san said he was ready to go and had everything he needed. when they both got home, it was as if san was nonexistent once again. why was he being so distant?

oh hush. you two just got together and now you think he's cheating? so much for wishful thinking, you nut.

okay maybe he was being a bit paranoid. why was the worse case scenario the first to pop up in his head?

because you're a nut.

he was snapped out of his thoughts by a warm hand rubbing his thigh softly, his eyes flittering before landing on wooyoung who stood between his legs, a small smile covering his lips. "good morning petal." there it was. that pet name that made san turn into a chili pepper.

"g-good morning wooyoungie."

he watched the older waddle over to the table where a plate of bacon and pancakes sat for him, slipping the a slice between his lips before he started making himself a cup of tea.

"oh for fucks sake, please tell me everybody has everything because the car is gonna be here in twenty minutes." despite being tired, hwa sure made sure his voice was heard throughout the house, getting a few jumbled responses. his eyes softened at he looked at a sleepy san, who was once again leaning against wooyoung.

"ah sannie, you adorable angel, i made sure all your stuff is packed." he didn't hide the small giggle that left him at hwa's statement, not missing the way hongjoong pouted as he came into the kitchen. "but you made me pack my own bag!"
