Aidan's POV

I live with my girlfriend Y/n and we both have tourettes syndrome so we pick up each others tics quite easily. We're having a family gathering. Both are families are coming over so my family can meet Y/n and her family can meet me.

We both have nervous tics and we're both nervous about meeting eachothers family so we're sitting in are room ticing alot because we're really nervous.

"Hey!" She screams. "Hey!" My tourettes copied. "Listen!" My tourettes shout as I jerk my head forward. "Watch out!" She shouts as she throws herself forward and hits her head on my knee.

"Sorry." She said rubbing my knee. "What's the weather like down there?" My tourettes say to Y/n as I pat her head because she is sorter than me.

"Oh shush- Listen!" Her tourettes kept saying. "Do you need help reaching something shorty?" My tourettes say as I whistle. "I love you Aidyyyyyyyyyy!" Her tourettes scream.

"I love you too Y/nnnnnnnnn!" (Your nickname) my tourettes say as are tourettes pull each other into a hug then we pull away laughing.

We then hear a knock on the door so we look at each other then are tourettes scream at each other then we run downstairs and open the door and see both are families there so we let them in and we all sit on the couches.

Me and Y/n were sitting next to each other and we kept copying each others tics. I whistle, she whistles. She says something, I say the same thing. Both are families think it's weird but also cute?

"You two are made for each other." My mum says. "Yeah like you both have the exact same tics. "No one has the exact same tics. Some of our tics are different and we have tic attacks at different times." Y/n says.

Y/n screams really loud then her eyes go wide as everyone's eyes are on her. "That was really loud." Y/n says to me. She then screams again and everyone is still looking at her.

"I couldn't feel that one coming so I can't suppress it." She says looking at me. "That's really an issue." She says as we both giggle.

The family gavering went on for a little longer but Y/n's tics kept getting worse. We then thought it was best if our families left so her tics could hopefully calm down.

Her tourettes got worse and it led to a tic attack that lasted 2 and a half hours. When her tic attack stopped she was still crying and I had put calming music on to calm her down.

The next day I had a tic attack and Y/n put calming music on for me to calm down then we took are sleeping pills so we would can hopefully fall asleep easier because of our tourettes.
