chapter 5

Some days passed by as you were too concentrated on you exams , they were hard and you needed to focus so you didn't hear from mikey and the other for some days.

You also got all of their numbers when you hung out with them last time so you told them why you weren't available.

It was currently night time and you heard a knock at your door, putting your pen away you cautiously made your way to the door and looked through the peephole and saw a familiar blond standing outside on your door steps .

When you opened the door you asked
" Mikey , what happened is everything okay?" seeing his discomfort and his non talkative self at the moment.

" Come in , we can talk about it" you proposed .
He silently entered and followed you to your living room and sat on the couch.

You went in the kitchen and brought some tea to warm him up a bit, when you returned he was still quiet .

" Mikey please tell me what happened"
He looked up at you and in his eyes you could see sadness and void, it broke your heart instantly as the boy that always smiled sat there with no emotion.

Little by little he told you about Moebious coming to ambush them and how Pah-chin was arrested, how he wanted to bail him out but Draken said that it was his will and that they shouldn't intervene.

" Y/n-chan am i wrong, why can't we bail him out? I dont want to lose him too" he stated looking empty .
" Mikey you aren't wrong, Draken isn't either..both of you have different options but the fact the he stayed means that it was pah-chin's choice..i think we should respect that..you can go and see him and proceed from there okay?" he listened to you intently.

" Y/n why am i losing everyone i care about?"you noticed how he didn't say your nickname and how his voice cracked .

" Mikey what do you mean?" you asked confused at what he was talking about.

He then told you everything. About his brother and Kazutora and what happened , you suddenly felt sick .

But when you told me the whole story, I felt like throwing up.
I could see it on your face, it was rough
Left a bad taste on your tongue.

You covered your mouth with your hands as you started to feel sick , tears rolled down your cheeks as you started to have difficulty seeing between all them.

The first thing you did was pull him towards him and wrap your arms around him as reassuringly as you could , he hugged you back.

" Manjiro ..i didn't know that you went through all of that at such a young age, no one at that age should go through what you went though, your brother he sounds like a really nice and caring person, if you want i can come and visit him with you if you want okay?" .

You said while smiling whilst still crying at him, he nodded and you continued " You deserve the world manjiro, you are the nicest person i have met and in these past few days i saw how you treat the people around you .. okay? You deserve all the happiness and love that there is available.. i'm here for you whenever you need anyone to talk to"

" Thank you y/n-chan , thank you"you saw him start to lightly cry and hugging you while hiding his crying face.

You stayed like that for a while when you felt him leaning back as he fell asleep, you gently put him back on the couch and put a blanket over him.

You didn't know he went through all of that and it made you heartbroken just at the thought of it.
You got your phone and messaged Emma that Mikey was with you and told her not to worry, she told you that Mikey and Draken fought and that they were thinking of dividing Toman.

You gently sighed as you knew that you had to do something about them fighting, they were literally brothers.

The following morning you woke up and because of it being a sunday you had no school , you brushed you teeth and went to check up on mikey that was still sleeping.

You decided to make pancakes and hot chocolate as you knew that he loved sweet things, when you finished setting up the table you went to Mikey and just looked at his sleeping form , he looked so peaceful and calm.

While gently pocking his cheek you said

" Mikey wake up i made pancakes"

" Emma five more minutes" he said while nudging you away.

" Mikey im y/n so wake up before i pinch you" you threatened playfully as he started you wake up.

" Morning mikey" you smiled at him.

" I fell asleep?" He said while rubbing his eyes.

"Yes , now hurry up or the food is going to get cold".

You both started to eat and talk about different topics which ended on the topic of cats.

He also asked you if you wanted to go and visit takemichi as he passed out while they were running away , you agreed and started to walk to your room to get ready when you felt him grab your wrist .

" Thank you y/n-chan , you helped me a lot" he said seriously while smiling.

" I barely did anything, and Mikey i'm here whenever you need me okay??" you smiled back at him.

" Yes" Mikey said never stopping looking at your reassuring smile.

This chapter was so sad to write but i felt like it was important for the story to develop more, also the gorgeous picture at the top is not mine <3
