Butterfly Effect || Mikey

Chapter 21

Warmth engulfed your body as you woke up from your slumber, covered in blankets with a hand holding your waist close to  them.
The smell of strong cologne invaded your senses, that was Mikey's signature scent.

"Hmm" you stretched your body while yawning, you slept like a baby the night prior, maybe it was because of the person next to you ;regardless you felt like you were reborn full of energy.

The blankets moved a bit and Mikey's blond head appeared out of the covers.You were about to get up and go to wash your face when his arm pushed you back onto the bed, holding you down as he placed his head into the crook of your neck.

"Can we stay like this please" his muffled voice said tickling your neck, you were ready to say no but he was giving you the cute and doe eyes.
"Okay but after i have to go somewhere with Chifuyu" you said as he nodded understandingly.

"Where are you going?" he asked with closed eyes.
"To visit Kazutora, but i understand if you don't want me to"you continued,Mikey had forgiven him but still wasn't ready to face him directly after everything.

His body stiffened and you felt that immediately, turning around to face him you reached towards his head and gently hugged him.

"I know you might not like it, but he regrets every bit of what happened, he is getting therapy and needs support in order to become a better person " you thought about it carefully before accepting to go.

"He was in these delusions as Baji said and needs any type of support, Baji would do it too if he was here " you brushed your finger through his blond locks hoping that it would comfort him in any way.

"I still am in pain and affected by everything deeply...but deep down i know you are right" he mumbled as you smiled.

He understood everything and even expressed himself to you, he was beginning to show his emotions just as he should in order to heal from what bothered him all these years.

"So i guess that is okay if i go?" he nodded back holding you tightly, breathing softly.
"Thank you" he mumbled as you quirked a brow.
"For what?" you asked a bit confused .
"For helping me understand everything more...you always know how to comfort me and help me"

"For you anything Manjirou"you pecked his cheek and got up to get ready, today you didn't have school so Chifuyu would be picking you up to go.

You got ready and grabbed your stuff and headed towards your door to put your shoes on , Mikey put on his too as he had to go home .
You heard a motorcycle so you both went out and saw Chifuyu pulling up.

"Take care of her" Miley said all serious, almost in a threatening manner, poor Chifuyu nodded.
"Of course Mikey-san, and i know you two are together so nothing weird will happen "he said stammering out while you laughed.

You patted his back and laughed a little too loud.
He elbowed you in your ribs and that made you laugh even more , he was just too adorable.
"See you tommorow Mikey" you waved at he smiled.
"Byee" he waved as you drove away from his sight.

After a few minutes you arrived at the Juvenile Center, you signed in and went through security checks then finally sat down in the room where Kazutora would be arriving at any moment.

The buzzing noise from the door opening woke you up from your day dream, familiar yellow and black hair could be seen. Kazutora walked in and wore a look of suprise and confusion, he probably wasn't expecting visitors, especially you and Chifuyu.

"Hi" you both greeted him as he sat down.
"Why are you visiting me?" he asked with a sad tone.
"Why? There shouldn't be a reason to visit someone who spends their time in this shitty place"you said back, he was taken aback and Chifuyu laughed.

"What she said" he nodded.
"You know, Baji moved to Hokkaido, he told me to say goodbye to you for him." you spoke up.

"He said , and i quote: tell Kazutora to not do anything stupid and that i'll be waiting, we all are"you finished, making up the best imitation of Baji's voice, Chifuyu laughing at that .

You could see a slight tug of Kazutora's lips upwards,  so you pulled out from your picket a tiger figurine.
"Baji told me you liked tigers" you placed it near the glass as he stared at it confused.
"They will give this to you later,so if you ever feel down just look at it and remember we are here"

"Why?Why are you so nice?" he asked unsure.
"You were being manipulated by Kisaki and we can clearly see that you finally snapped out of your delusions...you are just broken." Chifuyu spoke.
"We want to be here for you, no one told us to do so, we want to. You can count on us , okay?"

At that point he started crying, that sight broke your heart, you didn't know the boy that much but still knew that he had a bad past like Baji told you.

The rest of the time you talked and made it easier for Kazutora, he finally knew that there were people waiting for him to become a better person.

You and Chifuyu walked out of the facility and started to get ready to head back.
"Y/n-san, what if i told you something crazy...would you believe me?" he said hesitating.
"I like crazy, go on" you were intrigued.

"Takemichi is a time leaper" he said as you stopped walking and just looked at him .

"What?"
