Chapter 24

"He plans on killing Emma Sano" he spoke, your heart shattered at only hearing that, you couldn't imagine any of your friends getting hurt or worse.
You felt everything going blurry for a second, then you realised it was tears swelling in your eyes.

"Y-you " you couldn't finish your words as you dropped onto the grass and started controlling your breathing, anxiety flowed in your body.
"I don't want any of that to happen, Izana is just so stuck up on vengeance he became blind, Kisaki is using that to his advantage" he spoke almost unsure.

"WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING LIKE YOUR IZANA JUST WANTS TO PRANK SOMEONE HUH????HE WANTS TO FUCKING MURDER MY BESTFRIEND! DO YOU NOT HAVE ANY FUCKING FEELINGS?" you screamed on his face.

"WHAT IF I FUCKING KILL YOUR PSYCHO CAPTAIN HUH? OR FUCKING FAMILY??" you yelled at him, you saw red. How could he just even say that casually when Emma was the one about to get murdered , your best friend.

"Im going, i have nothing to discuss with you anymore. Go and fuck yourselves you disgusting pieces of shit, tell your fucking Izana that if Shinichiro-san was alive he would have been disgusted by him. Wake the fuck up Kakucho" you bitterly said before walking away.

You had approached him in order to get some information out of him , and got more than you ever wanted to know about. You were ready to do anything to save Emma.
'Think y/n , think' you mentally repeated.

Knowing how Kisaki thinks , even if Emma doesn't show up that day he would try and do something that might end up being worst than before.
Was he trying to make Mikey weak? This showed that they couldn't beat him in any other way than doing dirty and inhumane tricks.

You had to save her by going along with them and staying vigilant, Mikey had already asked you to go but you didn't know that it was the day after. Meeting Kakucho was like a sign from above.
You were going to save Emma no matter how.

The day following, at the cemetery.

"Y/n i'm glad that you came along, it makes Mikey happier" Emma said to you as you walked into the cemetery grounds. You smiled and nodded.
You were very vigilant at that point, not knowing where would Kisaki try to kill Emma.

You held Mikeys hand as you walked, squeezing it reassuringly sometimes so he would feel better.
You saw Takemichi and Inui talking but there was also someone else there too ....Izana.
"That mother fucker.." you mumbled .

"Takemichi take y/n and Emma away" Mikey said to which you walked with them, not faltering your glare from Izana, he took notice of that and stared back.
Emma started talking about how Mikey isn't as strong as people keep talking about.

She said that inside he was still a kid who loved sleeping with his towel, he was just good at hiding his pain.You agreed to that smiling.
"You know, there is me , you and y/n" she said.
"So whenever there is trouble, i'll help Mikey no matter what..just like Mikey always does"

"Man that was cool of me, wasn't it?" she said smiling you side hugged her and smiled.
"Emma that was indeed cool, I'll also always have Mikey's back" you poked her side making her laugh, tickling you back.

Takemichi smiled at the sight of the two friends laughing , but something in his brain clicked.
If these two were the ones who understood Mikey completely, were they in the future?

' No , something isn't adding up' he thought.
'Were Emma-chan and y/n-chan in the future?'

You looked around quickly because you felt ypur senses tingle immediately, something in you made you take your bag off and hold it close.
There was a motorcycle approaching you at fast speed and you spotted a bat in the hand of...KISAKI.

Before the bat could hit Emma you pushed her out of the way....you felt immediate pain in your body.
You had managed to stop the hit by direct the bag towards the bat...but you still got hurt.
You fell to the floor in pain, you couldn't stand.

Takemichi and Emma looked horrified as they stared at your body knocked out onto the floor.
"Y/N" Emma screamed as she ran towards you.
"Takemichi COME HERE HELP ME" she screamed.

"Y/N-CHAN" Takemichi ran towards Emma .
"This is the end Takemichi Hanagaki" Kisaki said before looking at takemichi and your body.
"Y/n? What happened?" Mikey asked shocked.

"A bike suddenly came and was about hit Emma but y/n jumped in" he said between tears.
Izana looked at what looked like your lifess body on the floor and then quietly walked away.

Mikey put you on his back and started carrying you towards the hospital, you felt dizzy from the impact.
"Mikey i managed to save Emma" you said between heavy breaths, he smiled and almost broke down.
"Yes you saved Emma" he said, tears prickling his tired eyes, managing almost to escape.

"I feel tired" you croaked out, tired than ever.
"No no, y/n stay awake" Emma cried , almost pleading for you to stay awake fearing that you wouldn't wake up if you closed your eyes.

"Y/n-chan please stay awake , Mikey-kun, me and Emma-chan are here..so please" Takemichi sobbed.
"Emma-chan..you are my bestie so don't worry, Michi you are a good friend."

"M-mikey...i'll love you forever."
