36. Sports Festival Part 2

Katsuki's POV
I can't wait to show everyone how strong I am. I get to show my parents and my old bullies that I'm not the same loser from before. This is gonna be great!

I walk into the waiting room and I can feel the glares of some of my classmates. "What's your guy's problem?" I asked. "Your comment towards the other students made everyone hate us. Now we have a target in our backs!" Denki whined. "Ok?" I said in a confused tone. What's wrong with that. It's not like they can beat me. I'm confused on why they seem so mad. "What do you mean so? You made it harder for us." Kirishima said. " And that's my problem how? I already know they can't beat me, so I have nothing to worry about." I said in a normal tone. These people are starting ti get on my nerves. "What about the rest of us?" Ojiro said. "We'll if you trained hard enough you'll have nothing to worry about." I said before going over towards an empty seat.

"Katsuki!" I heard Katsumi yell out. "What do you want?" I said in a cold tone. "I will beat you and show everyone that I'm better than you." She said and Shoka nodded behind her. "Yeah yeah whatever. Is that all?" I said in nonchalant tone. I didn't even wait for answer. I just ignore her and walked away.

"Hey dude that want manly." I heard Kirishima say to me. "I don't care. It's her fault for making a pointless declaration when there is a zero percent chance she can beat me. If i'm being honest the only person that has more than a one percent chance of beating me is Izu." I said. I noticed that most of the class were mad. "Woah dude you're making too many enemy's with that arrogance." Kirishima said before patting my shoulder. I quickly swiped his hand off me. "I'm not arrogant. I'm very confident. Also I still don't like being touched so watch your hands next time."

I hear Shoto and Izumi making that same declaration to Izuku. The bitchsquad is still going on with their pointless acts. This festival needs to hurry up and start. After 5 modem united of waiting. Midnight finally started to call out all the participants.

"FIRST GAME IS AN OBSTACLE COURSE! BEFORE WE BEGIN WE ARE GOING TO HAVE THE FIRST YEAR REPRESENTATIVE MAKE AN OPENING STATEMENT! IZUKU AND KATSUKI MIDORIYA PLEASE COME TO THE PODIUM!" Midnight yelled in her mic.

I hear some people congratulating Izu for being representative. Some people were confused on how someone like me could get such high points. I also heard some students say not to make anymore enemies, but I have the perfect speech in mind for that. I turn to 1b and I see the outcast are giving us thumbs up. That gesture made me smile a little, so I returned with a thumbs up towards them. I walk up to the podium hand in hand with Izu. He takes the mic and begins to talk.

"Thank you everyone for coming today. I hope you enjoy watching our skills and how we use our quirks. Good luck to everyone participating and GO BEYOND PLUS ULTRA!" Izu yelled into mic. There were a lot of claps and cheers. "Wow Izuku your speech was amazing. Now Katsuki take the mic and say your opening statement." Midnight said with a smile.

The crowd quieted down when they saw me stand in front of the microphone. " I'm gonna win. If I don't come I come in second that means my husband got first. For the rest of you...have fun fighting for third place." I said confidently. Everyone in the stadium was stunned.

"HOW CAN YOU BE SO ARROGANT"
"YOUR SPEECH WASN'T PLUS ULTRA AT ALL"
"YOU SHOULDN'T BE AT UA"
"YOUR ARROGANCE IS GOING TO BE THE DEATH OF YOU"
"COCKY BRAT"

I turn to see the outcast laughing their asses off. All the other students were fuming with rage. You know what let me piss them off more. This is some quality entertainment. I go back up to the mic again. "Um I forgot one last thing." I said into the mic. Everyone became quiet and I felt all the glares piercing my body. This is gonna send them over the edge. " Well it seems like you guys are mad about my last statement, so I just want to say... I meant everything I said and if you have a problem with it then beat me and prove me wrong." with that I walked off stage without a care in the world.

"Jesus Kat you just can't help yourself can you." Izuku say in neutral tone. "I had to make this more entertaining for me. Plus me making that statement will make other people try harder to beat me." I say while shrugging my shoulders. "Our class is surely going to be mad about this." he said while shaking his heads. "I bet the kids and our parents are laughing their asses off at home." I replied while laughing. "Your right." he responded with a chuckle.

3rd Person POV
"Well um I think we should just start the first game." Midnight said nervously in the mic. After hearing that everyone went to the starting line. Midnight started the count down and pressed the starting buzzer. All the students started to run through the tunnel. Izuku was about to start the race but then Katsuki flew infront of him with his cloud. He got on one knee and held out a rose and said "may U have this dance?" Everyone was shocked at this gesture. Many people were thinking on why he is so confident in winning.

Izuku took the rose and got onto the cloud with a bright smile. Katsuki offered his hand and they started to dance. They danced like it was their final dance on Earth. "IS THE MARRIED COUPLE DANCING WHILE RACING OTHER STUDENTS! WHAT IS GOING ON?" Present mic yelled during his commentating.

"Kat why are you doing this." Izuku said with a chuckle. "Well I love you and it would've been boring riding my cloud alone." Katsuki responded. "Well while we were dancing, we already passed everyone and the finish line is right infront of us." Izuku said with a chuckle. "Well thanks you for the dance," Katsuki bowed and kissed Izuku's hand which earned a chuckle from the green haired male. "I love you so much Kat." "I love you too Izu."

"THATS IT FOR THE RACE! THE FIRST 42 PARTIPANTS MOVE ONTO THE NEXT ROUND!" Midnight announced. "Here are the top 10 rankings!" Midnight said before pointing to the big screen.
