"ALISHA! Get down here! It's breakfast."
"Ok mommy!"
I jump down the stairs and found Zeus and Aphrodite, my sister and brother, sitting at the table while my dad and mom make breakfast. I love my family.
"So Alisha are you excited to have your brother and sister home for the day?"
"I guess." I struggle getting into my chair since I am only a puny little 6 year old.
"Need help baby girl?" My dad looks at me and chuckles.
"NO! Im going to be a big girl and sit all by herself." My dad just looks at me and chuckles again. We eat breakfast then we cuddle up on the couch and watch movies the remainder of the day. It was so peaceful. This was right before things got bad. We never saw anything coming, it was terrible. My favorite part was when they tucked me in.
"Baby girl? Ready to go to sleep?" My mom looks at me and sees im half asleep.
"Yes. Im beyond ready." I say groggily.
"Ok. C'mon. Time for bed everyone. Someone carry Alisha."
Aphrodite picked me up and carried me up. Everyone came into my room and put me into bed. Aphrodite declared that it was a cuddle kind of night so she climbed in too. Zeus figured he'd sleep in my room too so he wasn't left out. He pulled out the trundle bed and laid down. My parents kissed our foreheads and said goodnight. They turned off the lights and closed the door after looking for monsters in my closet. It was a picture perfect family I'd kill to have again. Even though I don't let myself believe it, I miss Aphrodite and Zeus. I wish I could find them... Even though they're 3 years older than me, I love them.
