Mommy and daughter day

Demi POV
I was on my way back to Alisha's room when I saw my mom.
"Is everything ok mommy?" I sounded like a little girl.
"One, since when do you call me mommy. Two, we are having a mother daughter day. Maddie, Dallas, and Eddie will watch over Alisha for the day. Come on." Before I could object she grabbed my hand and lead me to the door. No going back now. She wouldn't tell me where we were going and it was annoying me.
"Come on!!!" I whine like a little kid with stuff like this. "Tell me where we are going!!"
My mom looked at me like I was 5 (I guess I was acting like I was five)
"Demetria. Would you please stop whining? We are almost there"
I stayed in character. I crossed my arms and sighed like a little kid. We both laughed. We pulled into a parking lot and I immediately knew where we were. It was a little diner/arcade I used to go to when I was younger. I couldn't believe it was still here. Now I really turned into a 5 year old.
"MOMMY!!!! COME ON!!!! HURRY UP!!!!" I was jumping up and down trying to get her to go faster. She laughed and went even slower.
"Mom!!!! Come on"
She walked normal paced.
"Demi. You do know you aren't 5 anymore? You can go in front and get us a table and tokens." With that I ran inside. I absolutely love this place. It was the one place I remembered of Patrick. He used to take me here when I was little. Once I could drive I drove here when I missed him. This was our place and my mom knew that. I wouldn't let us leave until I beat him at ski ball, air hockey, and basketball. I had to win all three or when he tried to leave I would run away until he would agree to stay. One time we didn't get home till like midnight. My mom was very angry. My mom and I sat down and I already remembered what I always got there, cheeseburger and French fries. After I ordered I ran to the games. My mom couldn't beat me at any of them. We stayed there the whole day. Lunch and dinner was spent there. I really did need to get away from the hospital I guess. We head back and that's when it hits me. I haven't checked up on Alisha the whole day. I can't believe I didn't text to check in at least once. When we get back to the hospital I rush in. I get to her room and she's fast asleep. All of them were. Dallas, maddie, and Eddie were all asleep in chairs and Alisha on her bed. It was quite adorable.
