Deenas pov

Once we finally arrived at the game, i sighed of relief. This bus was so loud and nosy i could hear the gossip of boys through my headphones. Everyone got off the bus, i looked at sam and she was sleeping on my shoulder peacefully.

I smiled, she looked so beautiful.. Such a pretty sleeper. I didn't want to leave her sight. I could get lost when thinking or even looking at her.. I moved a bit and shook her. "Sam?" I whispered.

She moved and snuggled my arm. I chuckled a little, trying to not be awkward.. "Sam.." I shook her again, she groaned- her eyes opening. I felt so bad for waking her up.. I don't know why. She looked outside and sighed, "Shit i didn't mean to fall asleep i'm sorry." She stretched. "Your good.."

We both got up and got off the bus, i had to go with my team and she went with hers. She waved at me before she left, i waved back. She gave a little wink and began talking to her friends. It was already dark out since it took us 2 hours to get here.

I sighed. Blushing madly.. "Deena?" One of my team members; Dylan asked, i looked over. "Yeah?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "Our teacher is still sick.. He didn't come to the game, the coach of the football team said we can just sit on the bleachers.. We can't do the game without Mr.Norman (Our instructor)

I rolled my eyes, he's missed 2 games. I nodded going to sit on the bleachers under the audience. I took my band hat off, sitting it in my lap playing with the blue and white feathers. I had nothing else to do anyways. The game had started, everyone cheering on their team, i felt as if my ears were bleeding.

I heard someone whispering, calling out my name. I couldn't find the target until i heard, "Julien!" I looked over and it was sam, she was waiting in a line with her team, they were waiting to go on the field and cheer.

She waved at me, i smiled waving back softy. God.. Was i in love with her. She looked back to the girl in front of her, we made eye contact here and there.. I never took my eyes off of her. Her beautiful strawberry strands falling in front of her canvas of a face, her swaying side to side losing her patience of waiting, her messing with fingers to keep calm.

She was such a precious human being.. I never understood how i could be so crazy about someone.. I began tracing hearts with my fingers on my hat, my eyes getting glossy, my heart beating out of my chest. I wanted to kiss her again.. So badly. I craved her cherry colored lips on mine. I began breathing heavy, wishing i could just not be a pussy and make a move.. But i forget that she told me she loved Cole.

I snapped out of my thoughts when i saw her begin moving, her team walked to the field, doing their dance for the football team. Sam's skirt would rise here and there, i would always look away.. Not wanting my dirty thoughts taking over me right now, i bounced my leg and sucked in my bottom lip.

It felt like everything was crashing around me, nothing in my way but a clear view of sam. The way my heart ached for her, i had so much love for her.. More than anyone else could, i just wish she wanted me as much as i wanted her.

I few minutes had passed and the girls stopped cheering for their team, they all walked back together by the separate bleachers that were for cheerleaders only. It was behind the band bleachers, sam usually always sat behind me, but she sneaked and came up to me, "Move over!" She whispered. I chuckled and moved over so she could sit by me. We just stared at each other.

"H-Hi.." I whispered, getting all flustered. She smiled, "Hi." We just looked at each other, i admired her eyes, i always got lost in them. She looked to the side of me, furrowing her eyebrows. She softy grabbed one of my curls, twisting it with her finger. I felt as if my heart dropped to my stomach. "Pretty." She grabbed a few more strands of curls and began braiding my hair.
