Can We Wake Up Now?

"Get out of my head!"

After that day that Chuck had told everyone that Aris was still alive inside him everything has changed. Gally had started watching him and Newt knew that he was just waiting to see if he tired anything. Thomas on the other hand was really close with him and now that Aris was allowing them t be all touchy with each other Thomas would always be around and would always hold Newt when they had a minute to themselves. Aris on the other hand had been very quiet for a change and only talk to Newt a bit on a night when they were by themselves, just like right now. Newt was laying in the room they were staying in and Aris had decided to talk to him.

"Hey Newt"  Aris said inside of Newt's head.

"Yes Aris?" He asked, looking like he was talking to himself.

"What do you think is going to happen if they decide to take you out of me since they know I'm alive inside of here?" He asks him making Newt feel his energy that he was worried about him.

"I'm not sure, I have a feeling Thomas would stop it since he would never want to lose me, Chuck would also want me to live too, since he also treats me like his brother. He does want you back but also doesn't want me to die in place of that" He knew Aris was listening to him but he wasn't sure on what he would think on this part. "And Gally.... I think he would want me gone so he can have you back"

"I wouldn't let him, I would at least let you take another body" Aris said as Newt sighed.

"Even if you could tell them that they probably wouldn't let me since they want all Souls to die for taking over this planet" He told him as he stood up. "I need to talk to Thomas, maybe he can help me with this" He says as he makes his way around the small base looking for Thomas. He asked around and they told him they were in the infirmary so he made his way there. As he got closer he heard hushed voices and was confused, as he made it to the doorway he saw something that made him scream in horror. Inside Thomas, Gally, Vince and the doctor turned to face him as he looked in shock. 

There on the table were bodies that had cuts on the backs of their necks and laying dead on a table were Souls they had cut out, they laid there dead, blood all around them. Newt started to cry and looked at them all in pain.

"You monsters!" He shouted as he quickly ran out and ran to his room.

"Newt!" Thomas shouted as he chased after him.

"Newt, listen to me" Aris said in his head to try and calm him down.

"Get out of my head! Get out!" He screamed as he made it to his room and cried in pain just as Thomas made it. He sat down outside and looked at Newt.

"I'm sorry" He said as Newt sat there in pain, shaking lightly. After a little time Chuck came to see him.

"Newt?" He looked up hearing Chuck.

"Come in Chuck" He said as he walked in and sat down near him.

"I heard what happened" Newt sighed. "Are you alright? Must have scared you what you saw"

"It did shock me, I didn't expect to see those Souls.... It was just horrible" He said, trying to keep it together.

"What did Aris think when he saw it?" He asked, just then Newt remembered he hadn't heard Aris for a while since he told him to get out of his head.

"Aris?" He asked but he heard nothing. "Aris are you there?" He asked again but still no voice came. "I can't hear him anymore"

"What do you mean?" Chuck asked, a worried look coming to his face.

"When everything happened I told him to get out of my head, I think he actually got out of my head" Newt started to panic. He never meant to make him leave, he was just angry and upset in that moment. "I need to find Thomas" He said as he got up and ran down the hallway to find Thomas. He ran around for a while before he found him talking to someone, once Thomas saw him he walked over.

"Newt I'm so sorry about what happened" He said before he grabbed his arm and pulled him into a room.

"I need you to kiss me" He told Thomas and Thomas looked at him confused.

"Newt are you sure that's the right thing to do right now?" He asked but Newt shook his head.

"I can't hear Aris anymore and I need to do something that might bring him back so I need you to kiss me" He looked at him scared. "Please Tommy, I can't lose him" And at that Thomas kissed him, making Newt blush lightly. They kissed for a while but Newt pulled away still not able to hear Aris. "It didn't work" He thought for a minute before it hit him. "Where's Gally?" He asked.

"At the fields why?" Newt didn't answer as he ran to the fields and spotted Gally. He ran towards him and stopped in front of him.

"I need to talk to you right now" He said as he walked towards one of the buildings, Gally right behind him. Once they were there Newt took a breath before looking up at Gally. "Look I know you don't like me but this isn't about me, it's about Aris"

"What's wrong? Is he okay?" He asked, worry coming to his face.

"When everything happened Aris tired to calm me down but I told him to get out of my head and I think he left. So I tried to kiss Thomas because that got a reaction from him the first time but it didn't work. So I think you need to kiss me"

"What?" Gally said looking a him confused.

"I think it would make Aris so annoyed that it would bring him back, please Gally not only would I lose him so would you" He says begging Gally to do this.

"Okay, I'll do it, for Aris" He says as he moves closer to Newt. He takes a breath before kissing him, Newt placing his hands on Gally's chest. Slowly the kiss got deeper and faster and all of sudden.

"Stop!" Aris shouted in Newt's head making him push Gally away. Newt smiled hearing Aris in his head again.

"Good to hear you again" He said smiling hearing Aris chuckle.

"You aren't getting rid of me that easy" He says making Newt chuckle lightly before looking at Gally.

"He's fine, he's back" Gally let out a breath and smiled.

"Thank god" Newt smiled at him before Thomas came running up to them, seeing them smiling he knew it was good news.
