Jungkook was packing his bag excitedly as he hummed and ran along the room to grab anything that came to his mind. It was almost midnight and Jungkook was thrilled as a day. Mrs. Jeon suddenly appeared in his room. "What is that noise?" She groaned and her mouth fell into bemusement when she saw her boy rearranging the bed.
"I am almost done, mom." Jungkook didn't stop and kept pushing the big bed across the room.
"Stop if you want to be able to go to the states tomorrow." Mrs. Jeon warned in a dangerously low tone.
"But it's diagonal, at least let me straighten it." Jungkook pouted.
"Naaah. Get on the diagonal bed and I don't want one noise coming out of this room."
Jungkook hung his head low and jumped on the mattress, causing a plop to emerge and Mrs. Jeon sighed while shaking her head.
While inside the cover, Jungkook still couldn't sleep. He decided to text Jimin. Over the few weeks, they ended up texting each other in case of doubts. If Jungkook was to be fair, he reached out to Jimin even if he didn't have any queries.
Hey, Hyung? Slept?
Yes
What are you bringing to wear? Should we carry our formals?
Yes
Will we go outside? I mean should we also carry some casuals?
Yes
Can I ask my parents for extra money, just in case we need it?
Yes
Okay Hyung, good night. :)
Happy, but completely clueless of Jimin's sourness towards him as it wasn't something unexplored, Jungkook slept like a baby.

The morning was awaiting for Jungkook to open his eyes and just as the boy did, the Sun celebrated, the birds sang, and the wind started blowing in enthusiasm. He jumped off his bed.
Dancing and singing while using a toothbrush as a mic, he showered and got into his airport outfit, which was a black half-sleeved hooded jacket and black track pants. Jimin's parents were traveling abroad so Mr. Jeon took the responsibility to drop the kids at the airport.
"My little boy, listen carefully," Mrs. Jeon caressed the teenager's head. "Don't go at places where adults drink or smoke. Stay away from the trouble, don't spend on unnecessary stuff and Jimin will be there, so I think just do what he says. He is much smarter than you and he is your Hyung."
Jungkook nodded. The boy was delighted about the trip with Jimin and he anticipated that many things between them would change for good. "I will listen to Jimin Hyung, but I am smarter than him." Jungkook countered.

"Hyung," Jungkook called Jimin from the gaps between the seats in somewhat a whisper and squeal.
Jimin rolled his eyes under his eye mask with a raspy groan playing in his throat as he turned for the fourth time to look at Jungkook "Get your ass here and sit with me," he commanded.
As the boy stood, Jimin's usual frown flipped to smile, feeling good about himself that Jungkook acted cute with him and he got to order the younger around.
Jimin admitted that the boy was adorable, and that was making him miserable for the past few weeks they were meeting to prepare for the quiz. Jimin ended up disliking the fact that Jungkook talked to Utkarsha with such ease, even when the girl was a new friend.
